Getting sick once in a while is normal. But being sick on repeat, again and again, without answers, isn’t. For many people living with persistent infections, the experience can be exhausting, frustrating, and lonely. And far too often, it takes years to understand that these repeat infections might signal something deeper like primary immunodeficiency (PI). Up to 90% of people with PI don’t know they have it. Many spend years searching for answers, seeing multiple specialists, and still feeling stuck in the same cycle.
