We are delighted to see Recycle Rewards Container Refund Scheme going live today in Tasmania. The launch of the scheme is the final piece in the puzzle in Australia's national network of container deposit schemes, making us the first continent in the world to be entirely covered by refund schemes. This is an achievement we should be proud of and a huge step for the country's circular economy. 👏

From hands-on games to eye-opening chats about the impact of waste in our waterways, it was all about inspiring the next generation to protect our environment. Happy 20th birthday to our friends, The Mudcrabs Cooks River Eco Volunteers! For two decades, this dedicated community group has been looking after the Cooks River—picking up litter, restoring bushland, and protecting the local environment. Started by the passionate Chris Bartlett and a small group of friends, the Mudcrabs have grown into a thriving movement with 620 volunteers involved across 18 sites along the river.
