ACLE will be involved in several aspects of the project, from civil engineering to electrical works. It’s great to see our operations expanding in the important state of Queensland, which plays a crucial role in Australia’s renewable energy landscape. I’m pleased to share that ACLE Services Pty Ltd has been awarded the construction contract for the 60-MW/120-MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at X-ELIO's Blue Grass Solar Farm in Western Downs, Queensland. This is a significant milestone as it marks X-ELIO’s first hybrid solar and storage venture in Australia. The project will be completed in two stages: firstly, it will focus on the 60-MW/120-MWh BESS, and secondly, on the mechanical completion that is expected in late 2025. ACLE will be involved in several aspects of the construction project, from civil engineering to electrical works. Not only will this project contribute to Australia’s renewable energy goals, but it will also support grid stability and create numerous local jobs during construction, and beyond.
