It’s a wrap on #CERAWeek 2026, a week that underscored how vital open, informed dialogue is as the global energy system transforms. #OMV Group was represented in full force, with Alfred Stern, Martijn A. van Koten, Berislav Gaso and Christina Verchere (from OMV Petrom) actively shaping the conversation. OMV is evolving its sites into dynamic hubs that adjust yields, integrate fuels and chemicals, and support decarbonization, while keeping energy, feedstock, and materials reliable and affordable. Gas in Europe’s power mix Europe’s transition needs speed and stability. As renewables grow, gas remains a strategic pillar, ensuring reliability, competitive prices, and coal exit. OMV secures flexible supply through infrastructure, LNG, storage, and trading to support a balanced, resilient system. CERAWeek reinforced that the path ahead is complex but full of opportunity.
