7 medals in the bag - Our apprentices shine at SkillsAustria! Austrian Skills 2025 in Salzburg was an emotional and inspiring highlight. Competing in four trades with two apprentices each, our apprentices brought home an impressive haul of medals and top placements: Industrial Mechanics: Keanu Frick 1st 🥇, Manolo Dür 2nd 🥈 Mechanical Engineering CAD: Sandro Flatz 1st 🥇, Mona Wetzel 2nd 🥈 CNC Milling: Deniz Mutun 1st 🥇, Mikail Kum 2nd 🥈 Electrical Engineering: Janick Gehrer 1st 🥇, Kilian Kügel 4th Medal tally: 4 gold, 3 silver - meaning four slots secured for WorldSkills Shanghai 2026. 👏 A heartfelt thanks to our apprentices, experts, coaches and partners. Your commitment, training and unfaltering dedication made this possible. Now we catch our breath and focus on preparing for WorldSkills International - onward and upward! 🎉

That’s why we’ve reimagined our apprenticeship program and launched our new Hightech Apprenticeship campaign this autumn. 🔩 🤖 Over the years, our training has evolved alongside new technologies. Today, apprentices at Blum work with cutting-edge tools, explore 11 different professions and can choose flexible paths – with or without A-levels, after graduating or through the Dual Academy. This campaign isn’t just about promoting opportunities. It’s about offering guidance and clarity to young people who are still figuring out their next step. 🔍 👣 From our new interactive video (where you can “play” through five levels of discovery) to customizable info materials, we’re helping future talents explore their options at their own pace. A taste of Blum. 😋🍽️ We recently had the pleasure of hosting a vibrant group of influencers in the trades - carpenters, cabinetmakers and interior fitters who inspire online - at Blum HQ plant 2 in Höchst. 🤗 The experience was a full sensory immersion into the world of Blum: A guided tour through our production lines and showroom, hands-on product discovery and a delicious cooking workshop 👨🍳 led by renowned chef Chambrier Matthieu to round things off. It was inspiring to see how traditional craftsmanship and digital influence come together to tell stories about quality, innovation and passion. Thank you so much to our colleagues at Blum France for presenting this excellent idea, collaborating and bringing it to life together. 🧡

Im Fokus stehen dabei vor allem Innovation und Chancen durch KI, ebenso wie Inputs zu Investments, Finanzen und der aktuellen Wirtschaftspolitik Österreichs. 🚀 Besonders wertvoll sind die konkreten Praxisgespräche und Deep Dives: Wie lassen sich neue Technologien pragmatisch in den Arbeitsalltag integrieren? Welche Wege und Denkansätze brauchen wir, damit Vorarlberg als Wirtschaftsstandort weiter wächst? Diese und viele weitere Fragen treiben uns täglich an. Celebrating 40 years of our CLIP hinge! 🥰 🎂 Launched in 1985 our CLIP hinge introduced tool‑free mounting and demounting of fronts to cabinet bodies, simplifying assembly for cabinet makers all over the world. Since then, the mechanism has been used billions of times and remains an industry benchmark for convenience and reliability. To highlight the hinge's advantages, we once staged a CLIP door-change competition. Back in 1994 Tero Nummila from our Finnish Distributor Hahle broke the world record for fastest dismount and remount with an astounding 1.765 seconds. And as far as we know, that record still stands today. 😎 Four decades later our program now includes more than 700 variants of hinges, covering virtually every customer need and CLIP continues to be a cornerstone of our success - proof that practical innovation stands the test of time.

Orange on the course: Blum Austria at Business Run Lake Constance. 🏁🏃♂️ Over 150 team registrations, our signature Blum orange visible across the course and a powerful sense of “we” that comes through in every photo made this spirited team event unforgettable! Because shared sporting experiences do more than create great photos: they strengthen team cohesion, boost wellbeing and morale, improve communication and foster a collaborative mindset that carries back into the workplace. 🧡 Huge thanks to everyone who ran and to the volunteer organizers. 🥰 Events like this only happen because of your energy and commitment. We're back on tour at Küchenmeile | Germany's Kitchen Hotspot 🥳👌 For us, this is an absolute must-attend event every year. We visit clients, engage in inspiring discussions, and observe how our fittings are integrated into designer furniture. As seen here in the pictures at Puris Bad GmbH & Co. KG and pronorm Einbauküchen GmbH. This week is crucial for analyzing trends, embracing improvement opportunities, nurturing business relationships personally and networking. We're excited for the days ahead! 🫶

Shaping the future together - HR Future Days at Blum! 🌟 With 26 international colleagues and 45 participants from different corporations in Austria, our HR get-together was a vibrant hub of conversations, ideas and innovation. During the three workshops days we focused on collaboration, strategy, organizational development and personal development. Each day was filled with insightful workshops and engaging discussions, setting the stage for meaningful connections, shared learning and global exchange. We wrapped up with a memorable celebration, reflecting on the insights gained and connections made. As we navigate the ongoing transformation at Blum, our HR team is committed to supporting and driving this change, ensuring we continue to grow and evolve together.
