What we love: The cozy vibes. Positivity grows like cattails at Kamaeru, whether it’s kind strangers who drop by to lend their expertise (like Jon and his paper-making mill) or the supercute frogs themselves. Seeing a yellow and blue croaker cozied up on a custom-painted couch is pretty awww-some.

Quick tip: Frogs can be tamed only when they’re physically present in the wetlands—simply having the critter logged in your Frogedex won’t do the trick. Tap a frog, then tap the food tab to discover what bugs it craves. Feed it a hearty meal and it’ll be your bestie!

Meet the creator: French indie developers Mélanie Christin and Aurélien Condomines cofounded Humble Reeds. They were inspired to create Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge after learning about the important role wetlands play in biodiversity and a healthy environment.
