GAMES WE LOVE

Find Your Happiness

A quest for hidden objects unlocks family secrets, hope, and healing.

Hannah is about to turn 40, but she still doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up. Watch her colorful story unfold in Finding Hannah, a cozy hidden-object game that mixes eye-popping art with relatable drama. As Hannah navigates the highs and lows of friendship and family, you’ll hunt for rubber ducks, takeout containers, and other everyday items in a gorgeously stylized Berlin.

What we love: The heartfelt story. Hannah’s journey of self-discovery feels genuine and packs poignant moments. In the present you’ll learn about her bestie/ex-girlfriend, Emma (their relationship is “complicated”), her career ennui, and her terrible boss. Flash back in time to see her mother and grandma as young women—while searching for objects in funky bookstores and on World War II–era rooftops—and you’ll gain a deeper understanding of their complicated bonds.

The bright, cheery graphics make finding dragonflies and merging bags a treat.

Quick tip: Don’t combine everything at once in the object-merging mini-game that pops up between levels. You might merge all your bags of coffee beans into containers of milk, only to discover you needed the coffee to fill an order.

Meet the creator: After being criticized by male colleagues for ideas that were “too mellow,” Lea Schönfelder founded Berlin-based Fein Games with Franziska Zeiner in 2020. Their goal was to craft casual games for women that featured authentic stories—like Finding Hannah, which was honored as a Cultural Impact Winner in the 2023 App Store Awards.
