APPS WE LOVE

Discover Great Works of Art

No stuffy lessons here. DailyArt feels like learning from an art‑loving friend.

Drawing from the collections of museums and galleries around the world, DailyArt shares a new painting, ink drawing, woodcut, figurine, or other work—along with a charming, personal take on what makes it great.

What we love: The app’s insightful (and sometimes tongue-in-cheek) selections make art from different centuries feel relevant today. The first day of summer may bubble up a Monet bursting with sunflowers. And the app never gets lost in art-speak. Léon Bonvin’s Still Life With Celery, for example, gets a rousing introduction: “It’s time for some veggies!”

Browse themes like self-portraits by women, search by artist, or enjoy the daily pick.

Quick tip: DailyArt helps you discover great art in person too. Guides for nearly 40 cities highlight where to see the works of Rembrandt and Van Gogh in Amsterdam or Diego Rivera’s murals in Mexico City.

Meet the creator: Art historian Zuzanna Stańska launched DailyArt in 2012 and to this day selects and writes nearly all of the content. A team of volunteer writers and editors ensure the app is available in over 20 languages.
