Take a giant leap for ape-kind in the uproarious Go Ape Ship! As a chimpanzee astronaut, you’ll team up with other players to navigate asteroid fields, calibrate antennas, and cook a banana steak in the kitchen. Go where no chimp has gone before—and make sure your ship doesn’t blow up along the way.

What we love: When everything goes bananas. There’s a hull breach in the engine room, a gravitational anomaly is tipping the ship sideways, and your crewmates are having an impromptu dance-off in the cargo bay! Frantically shouting instructions over in-game voice chat as everyone scampers back and forth is priceless pandemonium.

Quick tip: If the crew becomes overwhelmed, yank the “Oh Ship” lever in the cockpit—it’ll automatically complete current tasks and resolve all emergencies. You can use it only once per game, though, so choose wisely!

Meet the creator: Go Ape Ship! was developed by Sound Games and Lightfox Games. Sound was cofounded by Mike Schmid and brothers Jacobo and Sergio Abril, a pair of Spanish architects who also design games.
