Initially built with Black communities in mind, Spill puts a bold visual spin on online conversation for everyone.
What we love: Just a few words. Still images. GIFs and videos. All blend beautifully in each post (known as a Spill). Tap the magnifying glass to browse hashtags of trending conversations. Or scroll through the Spillboard, a collection of trending posts from fellow users.

Quick tip: Spill’s Groups allow you to connect with like-minded folks over your love of cooking, reading, African American studies, and more.
Meet the creator: Founded by former Twitter employees DeVaris Brown and Alphonzo Terrell, Spill was initially designed to be “a safer, more rewarding, and more fun social experience for culture-driving communities around the world,” Terrell says.
