This is a great app! The design and integration into the Mac and iOS ecosystem are excellent. Thank you for considering the family subscription (for us with school-age children, this means a lot). If you like playing with CSV files, you can create not only vocabulary cards but also anything else that interests you (just follow the CSV example provided for Word List on the app's website). I especially like the idea of working with tags. You can create different levels or types of lessons with them. Also, all the other options in the app are easy to work with because they are similar to standard Apple apps, very intuitive. Finally, I would ask the developers to add a shortcut "import CSV file" in the Shortcuts app. Best regards,

Good App with some frustrating limitations

I've been using this app for almost a year and have happily paid for it since the developers do a great job updating it regularly. Having tried both Anki and Wokabulary, I definitely prefer Wokabulary. It took some time to adjust to using hashtags instead of decks, but that was just a learning curve. The interface is clean and simple, which I really like. Some features aren’t immediately obvious, so you have to explore a bit to discover everything it offers.The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the built-in spaced repetition system. It’s incredibly restrictive and just doesn’t work for me. I put up with it but I don’t like it at all and I wish there was an option to turn it off and on. If you guess something correctly five times, it disappears for 5–6 weeks, which means you won’t see it again for a long time. Everyone studies differently, and the built-in repetition system just doesn’t work efficiently for me. If you want to review something more often, you have to keep marking it as a mistake, which is frustrating. There’s a “dry run” option, but it’s not helpful since it shows both the question and answer, making it completely useless. Being able to control your review schedule to fit your needs is everything. I reached out to them about this, but I got the impression that it won’t be addressed because it’s not considered as an issue. I understand that, as the creators, they believe in their system, but unfortunately, this issue has made me consider looking for other solutions. Overall, it’s a good app, but with some frustrating limitations.

Hi TheDword, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. You can actually configure the speed of the spaced repetition system in the settings. But still, our repetition scheme is indeed opinionated and not fully configurable. And while we think it is the best system for vocabulary learning, it will certainly not suit every learning style. So, we are sorry that Wokabulary is not the right app for you. But we appreciate a lot that you shared your feedback with us and even gave Wokabulary a positive rating. Thank you! 🙏 — Gabriel

Great vocabulary flash card app

Easy to use app that’s designed specifically for people learning a language. You can quickly enter words from your class notes and organize them by tags. Tags and words can be sorted to your own liking for quick searching.

OK, so I had to uninstall this app obviously it says offers in app purchases. I seen that when I downloaded, but I didn’t expect after six vocabulary words that you manually input by the way which I’m OK with but you’re doing that you’re doing the work after 60, you have to pay for a subscription or else you can’t do anything else After 60 vocabulary words the app is useless unless you pay so I just feel a little bit click baited to be honest
