I don’t make enough money to be able to purchase Logic Pro or any of the pro apps outright. The subscription enables me to use the pro apps whilst staying within my budget. If you don’t like the subscription Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage are still available for purchase on the app store.

One of the things I have endorsed in Apple is the fact that their creative suite was available with a perpetual license. Pay once and use it forever. And the promise of the continued updates were even better. It is the reason that I moved away from Adobe. I already have an Apple One subscription, I am NOT going to pay a monthly fee for software that I have already purchased.

Logic will forever be my go-to DAW as a composer/sound engineer. The value for what you pay is so much better than pretty much anything else out there, and its interface is both capable and modern. I’d recommend.
