This is the best one I’ve tried. Everything works well and there are lots of great features. I really like the ability to create custom prompts for different scenarios. Even though it’s an advanced feature, I wish that there was a way to understand which kind of GGUF models would be supported without having to download them and have them fail. It would be good if the instructions for custom models had a little more detail about the type of GGUF model that is supported. Finally, it would be really awesome. If you could figure out why the Siri text to speech, voices are not selectable when choosing a voice for conversation I have British voice 3 set up for TTS, but it’s not an option here.

I’ve been searching for an application like this for almost a year, and I’m excited that this developer created such an amazing app. This application has made me want to get more into the world of AI and it has taught me so much in such a short time. The developer is a genius and isn’t greedy like the others I’ve downloaded. Looking forward to further advancements, and very appreciative of the support and time that they continue to provide towards the app. I will be supporting this application because it’s very much deserved at this point. The gravity of what you can accomplish locally on your device with this app is mind-blowing, and the only limitation is your imagination.

To start off, I’d like to say a phenomenal job to the developer! There are a few great local LLM apps or remote apps that connect to Ollama, but none seem to be as carefully designed as Enclave. You can tell by how curated the recommended models are and the consistency of app updates that the developer seems to deeply care about efficiency, user experience, and user input. The models available are pretty efficient and good in functionality. I highly recommend this app if you are into running offline models locally, especially on newer and more powerful devices that can leverage their NPUs to provide a robust experience.
