I’ve been using TurboTax for over 6 years now ! The idea of getting your tax return “early” is a simply untrue . The whole process is subjective and can vary for every person individually . Please don’t be fooled by these marketing tactics. IRS websites clearly state that your wait time for your money can change for a slew of reasons . That said though, TurboTax does a great job of getting me my return simply and easy . Also amending tax documents is currently not an option until tax laws pass

Why sit in a boring office and do your taxes? TurboTax is awesome if you ever need assistance, which is very rare unless your case is rare, TurboTax makes it easy to file your taxes. I’ve been filing them for six years and haven’t had a single problem. I’ve done my taxes by myself with TurboTax. I would recommend this to anyone who plans on filing their taxes.

I haven’t used the app for long to file my taxes and the times i have I have always been satisfied. The IRS has never had a problem with my taxes.I did have an idea to make it business friendly, perhaps adding a receipt scanning option for one to be able to bookkeep on the go and have it all in one place rather than several apps.

One problem I’m having is I’m bouncing all over this return. Doesn’t flow easily for me. I have a spouse, but it only asks me for my information.If I leave one page to continue and have to go back one page to fix something sometimes there is no back button.

I have been using turbotax for at least seven years years and loved it in the beginning. over the last two years I have really started to dislike it. the “messages” are not readable since there is no option to even find them. the app is so much more complex and it feels like they’re making it that way so you have to pay their experts to do the work even if you don’t want to. super disappointed in the direction the have gone and the “help” option is just as lame.

I have used this app for years because of how simple and easy it was having a 1099. Here we go step-by-step from page to page from how much you made to your deductions and then to your next 1099 how much you made and then to your deductions. They have made us so complicated this year that you can’t get to what you need to put in. I am very disappointed in this app. It’s almost like they’ve made it so complicated and difficult if you get a 1099 that you have to hire their people to do it.

Not everyone has the newest shiny devices you people want. There’s absolutely no reason my few year old iPad should be incapable of running this. I download the older version, and just get told I must update with no way around that message. This is ridiculous. I tried running it here because you won’t even let it run on my laptop either. Guess this is the end of using TurboTax after 15years… Absolutely horrible to do to your customers. Unless you’re buying me a new device, STOP IT.

I have used this Tax Prep software for 8+ years, and every year the price went up, without complete explanations for the why behind it. Started my taxes with this year and the price at the end was too high for what little explanations they give you. I will have to switch to other tax prep software because I never selected the upgrade they are trying to charge for. No, not today.

Not only do I know that this is a general problem since the devs of TurboTax knows as well but there is a problem with credentials being wrong when really right and when checked by the app, you cannot proceed and told to file by mail, something so simple to fix from developers and is not addressed this late in tax season, USE FREETAXUSA and it was whar I expected and no more time wasted with apps that send you in technical difficulty circles

I will gladly update this rating once someone fixes the app to open to the notification message. Email links to “learn more” about programs and offers go directly to the Home Screen for filing a return ie asks for your new info etc. app notifications on my phone do the same. I can’t get past the Home Screen unless I start a return. TurboTax is great! But the app has an issue that prevents me from accessing notifications directly from email, text, or phone notifications.

TurboTax Online resets every year at the end of the year, when you click on the links about promotions or email links that leads you to TurboTax Online you will be asked to start your new 2025 tax return.Once you have filled out the basic interview questions to get you started you can click on the bell at the top right of the page to review any notifications, or return to the link that you clicked on to view the contents you are wanting to see.
