If you live and breathe appointments and meetings, Fantastical was built for you. It offers a broad range of ways to view your calendars and reminders, and it makes adding an event as easy as talking to a digital assistant. And with support for widgets and Apple Watch, the app ensures you’ll never forget an important event again.

  • I resisted for so long; I shouldn’t have

I was on Apple Calendar for years, rejecting others as being overly complex and not simple enough. After Apple Calendar silently dropped Google Calendar events when auth needed refreshing, I thought okay I could use something that at least doesn’t do that. I was surprised to find Fantastical is powerful but simple, and that’s extremely hard to find. It feels right at home on Apple platforms too. Just wish they’d update that Vision Pro app but otherwise I’m a happy customer :)

  • Still like the app

I was an Fantastic 2 user that did not upgrade to 3. It is still my favorite app. Unlike others I have had no major problems with it asking me to upgrade. I still have not figured out what the difference between 2 and 3 as there was never a free trial for the advanced features.I originally choose this program over another at the time I purchased it as it had no subscription. If I knew that they where going to change I would have gotten the other as they offered me a lifetime subscription.

    Developer Response

Thank you for the updated review here. As a previous owner of Fantastical 2, many of the subscription features have been grandfathered to you and also given to you as a free upgrade in the app. The new subscription option gives you full screen views of day, week and month in addition to the Day Ticker view as well as unlocking the full version of the app on iPad, and Mac. We are glad to hear that you are still making use of your original purchase with us - you should have been given the option for a free 14 day trial of the Premium features, if you're not seeing that now, get in contact with us and we will see what we can do for you here - https://flexibits.com/contact :)

  • Feature Request

Really solid product. I was hoping to have the to-do/task area improved. Is it possible to have the use of templates with tasks and include subtasks like the reminders on iPhone do? I have some things happen and I like to add tasks with subsets from a template to allow me to work through a process with required steps. Either way thanks for always updating and hearing the customers out.

Thank you for your review and feedback! While this isn't currently possible in Fantastical, we have passed this along to our team to keep in mind for the future.

  • Show Day and Date on Fantastical icon on MacOS Fantastical, iOS Fantastical and on Apple Watch Face

Show Day and Date on Fantastical icon on MacOS Fantastical, iOS Fantastical and on Apple Watch Face Complication. To see the current Day and Date in these locations makes things easier and productive. I believe this can be done on iOS Fantastical but would like it to work and be default on other two. Here is a photo of my watch face. Bottom left shows Fantastical complication and Bottom middle is Apple Calendar complication.

  • Simply the Best!

    Long-Forgotten

Updated to 5 stars after fixing the aforementioned bug:Fantastical is THE perfect calendar app 99% of the time, but I find myself frequently frustrated by its iOS home screen and lock screen widgets and watchOS complications getting frozen and showing old data no matter what I do. Events I've deleted are still shown. Events I've added aren't shown. Yesterday's events are shown today. Rebooting both my phone and my watch almost never helps.

    Developer Response

We are sorry for the trouble! Apple manages syncing for widgets and complications, but if you can reach out to our team at flexibits.com/contact they have some steps that might help.

  • Great Calendar

My wife and I have different appleid’s and having to input everything twice was a pain. I’ve never seen an app that has the capabilities to connect to both appleid’s, but this one can! I can use either the Apple calendar or Fantastical to input info and it shows up on both calendars on both appleid’s! Have tried other calendars that have their own cloud, but they were too complicated or had a huge learning curve. Love Fantastical!
