Nothing to complain about it. Been a fan of kingdom rush since the first one back on 2010 or so. The only thing I always wanted was a kingdom rush were it updates monthly making the game ENDLESS. I’m currently playing the PVP new game. It’s okay but still lacks that endless feeling were you are constantly getting new towers, heroes, powers, enemies and more. The day they make that game… uff boy. I’ll be adicted to it none stop 🤟
PLEASE save our progress on levels when we have to close the game without finishing a level!!! even if i don’t completely swipe out and restart the app sometimes it restarts when i come back to it anyway and my progress for the level is totally lost. the rounds take a while sometimes, not realistic we have to finish every single level in one go every time!!
Consumables and maps that you have to scroll around constantly to be able to see the entire battlefield are not the on the list of things that made the earlier Kingdom Rush games great. I don’t care is there’s a black box around the game, seeing the entire battlefield is essential. Consumables are a miserable game mechanic. Just let us play each level as much as we like without the need to earn in game currency.
If you have any love for tower defense games, download this! Kingdom Rush games are the gold standard in the genre, and this has enough new stuff to make it a worthy addition. The two-hero system is lots of fun, adding another level of strategic decision making. The towers are varied and entertaining, and many of them can pull “double duty” when they’re full upgraded (combing magic and barracks-like abilities, for example). Plus there’s the usual strong, varied level design. One criticism, and it’s small: The voiced lines aren’t quite as clever and fun and pop-culture infused as in some of the earlier games. But like I said, that’s a tiny flaw in an otherwise awesome game.
I’ve only played through the Forest so far, but it’s got a lot of the elements that I enjoyed the first few series. 1. Every level has a lot of game play. 2. Difficulty selection— use it. I like to play casual mode at first to understand the timing and heroes’ abilities then increase difficulty when I replay a level. 3. Hero and towers are diverse. You’ll need different ones for different levels - that makes building up experience much more enjoyable. . 4. Achievements are delightful and quirky. I can’t get some but hopefully will figure out. As a note, I’ve not yet seen any bugs. Thanks!
Lil buggy, like game center wouldnt login at first, and the game wouldnt keep my heroes i equipped whenever i would start a game, i had to close the app to fix that, needs some fine polishing but the main "meat" is still there like the free version. Interesting how they kept the item shop but no encyclopedia like they did with vengeance +. If the devs see this, try adding a encyclopedia and endless mode later on. Also when you zoom in mid battle the screen gets buggy and wont zoom back out, have to pause to fix it every-time.
