  • Favorite knitting companion app!

I have tried a few apps so far and Knitflow has to be my favorite by far. The tracking is simple and easy and the knit counter customization is great. I love that you can add emojis to the yarn names so I can have a quick glance organization or other markings. The in progress photos at the top of the home screen is also nice to easy access my current projects. They recently added the yarn library as a separate “tab” too instead of just having it accessible from the projects which is awesome! The info pulls from ravelry or you can input and add your own photos too which is great for when I’m planning on the go. The creators are pretty quick too if you make suggestions or have any bugs or critiques.

This app has so much going for it. There are lots of enhancements that could be made, such as a yarn stash, but it’s the best timer/counter combo app I’ve come across and I love that it calculates the time stats. I can’t wait for future updates!

Hello Floating Space Castle,Thank you so much for using Knitflow! As I'm still a beginner knitter myself, feedback like yours is incredibly valuable in shaping the app’s development. I'll definitely consider adding a yarn stash feature and explore how it could be implemented. If you have any specific ideas or suggestions, feel free to share them with me at knitflow@souv.io—I’d love to hear your thoughts! If this feature gets implemented, I’ll be sure to update you in the replies.Happy knitting! 🧶

  • Great!

This app is pretty great. I can add my PDF instructions to my project, link videos if I need them, add notes about the project, and even draw on the PDF. My only issue is that I can’t edit or reset the clock, so if I accidentally leave it running, it adds a ton of false time to my counter. I also would love it if it opened in Android because some of us have multiple devices. Otherwise it’s pretty perfect! 🧶

Hi!Thank you so much for your kind and detailed feedback. I just wanted to let you know that starting from version 1.1.10 (just released!), you can now edit or reset your timer to fix any accidental sessions. I’m also planning to add features like notifications, so you won’t forget to stop the timer. As for the Android version, I’m currently designing and developing this app as a solo student project, so Android support is still undecided for now. But thoughtful messages like yours truly keep me motivated. I’ll be sure to let you know if and when it happens! Thanks again for your support, and happy knitting! If you have any other feedback, feel free to reach out at knitflow@souv.io.
