A new dimension makes connecting dots in the latest version of this long-running puzzle series even trickier.

  • My favorite

    Delicacy apothecary

Truthfully I hope the maker of these games is sleeping on a pile of money. I tried a ton of puzzle games to try to find something that was relaxing to play but also fun and engaging/not mindless. The flow free games are it (at least once I paid to remove the ads, but I consider it money well spent). The huge number of puzzles included means it can be easy when I want it to be easy and challenging when I want that, or in between, or a mixture. Best cure for doomscrolling.

  • More grind less challenge

    Marsupipal

I loved the original flow free and completed all 8k+ levels. Maybe I have just mastered this game but there was no challenge in this iteration. It felt like I was just grinding through filler levels to pad out the size of the game without any real challenge. I skipped to what I assume is the harder packs with no real challenges. The novelty of the shapes has made the game too Easy.

  • Problem solving.

I love playing this game before bed and when I wake up. I love using this game to get my brain moving to help solve issues in my life I think are impossible. My 4 year old loves play this game to. This game is never boring. It gets hard and that what I love about it. The challenges keep me coming back every time. I highly recommend for anyone.

  • Playback option please

One thing I like to think back on after completing a puzzle is where the insight was. Having a playback option would be perfect for this and also possibly satisfying to watch for the players.

  • Everything a mobile should be

    Opie Macleod

This is everything a mobile should be. Something you can open up real quick. Enjoy as you idle some time and put down at a moments notice without penalty. This is perfect for giving your mind something to do for a few moments while you wait. 5$ purchase to remove ads is worth it. Really does become the perfect solitaire type experience. There are daily puzzles. Weekly puzzles. And of course a lot of content to work through. Perfect for solving a few puzzles as you wait for a coffee of something. The gameplay reminds me of Tron Lightcycles. Getting them from point A to point B without crossing the light trail. I put on a Tron music playlist and it elevates it for me. That adds a bit of fun for me. But yeah. Overall the perfect mobile game. Fun, easy gameplay, can open and close quickly without issue, minimal monetization. Well done.

  • New content in the series, not sure if it works.

I have been playing the flow free series of games for a decade now. OG, bridges, and hexes are great. Warps can be a slog, but still good. Shapes is ambitious and trippy. The primary game mechanic is smooth and intuitive as in the others. The additional pack/ad free purchase is great value as always. But everything else is weird. The first weekly pack called “bricks” was hard on the eyes and not intuitive to complete. The 3D packs in the extreme category have links that are hidden by other ones e.g. the skyscraper pack. The mountain pack is very difficult to get your line going where you want it. Jumbo cubes look squashed or stretched depending on layout of the links. And the worst part of the game is the button layout. They eliminated the level navigation buttons, and put the hint button in their place. They also moved the reset level button to the corner where the hint button is in all the other games. This alone knocked a star off. You have four other games laid out in one specific way. Why would you change that for the fifth? In summary. I will finish all the packs eventually. But will I have a 3000 day daily streak like I do in the original, or do the weekly’s? I doubt it. I would’ve preferred additional packs to be released for the other games than getting this one. They were ambitious. Props for the effort. But after several hundred levels, my biggest takeaway is that my eyes hurt. Cheers.
