One-eyed giant eels? Alien-like anglerfish? You’ll be shocked at your haul in this creepy, Lovecraftian fishing game.

  • Nice Game

I liked this game a lot! I played on a iMac and macbook and once I changed the controls on the macbook its was more intuitive. Pluses: nice graphics and interactions, fun and exciting, not difficult to acheive most tasks and loved the way you can improve your boat. Minuses: I finished the entire game in two days ( a bummer). The improvement tree should be more expansive. So if you like a game paced at your speed and attention span this is the game for you. Warning the initital download is free but limited. The pay version is $9.99 which I thought was very fair.

  • Fantastic game

I’m 28, and at this stage of my life I often find it difficult to come across a game that truly captivates me and feels worthy of my limited free time, especially while working 40+ hours a week. Yet every time I come home, I find myself starting up Dredge and sinking (pun intended) at least an hour or two into it. During that time, I completely disconnect from everything else going on in my life and immerse myself fully in the game. I really want to thank the team for putting so much love and passion into Dredge it’s something I feel deeply while playing, and it’s a quality I find missing in many modern games.

  • Promising atmosphere, tedious and lacking in substance

I love the mechanics of the boat, and the atmosphere. However, the fishing mechanic is boring, the mechanic of trying to fit things on the boat is also tedious, the puzzles are very straightforward or if not straightforward, not interesting to solve. The story seems like it’s going to be interesting, but the conclusion has several holes. Several very uninteresting side plots and stories - why should I care about them? I just wanted to get to the end of the game, but I felt like I was being dragged on and on.And as for the horror element, it’s pretty easy to avoid the horror. Which I don’t mind necessarily… but I think the predictability makes it boring.2 stars because I don’t appreciate the amount of time I spent on meaningless side quests in the game.

  • A great and moody adventure

I have waited 2 years for this game to come out on the Mac and am not disappointed. This game (and its two expansions) has that ‘just one more fishing run appeal’….which easily turns in to an extra hour or so. Kudos to the team for it running well across all Apple devices (which means I can play on one device and pick up on another). I love the storyline and all the secrets to find. The graphics are intentionally simple, but aid in focusing the story AND providing a sense of calm while sailing the vast (and sometimes dangerous) ocean. Get this one - it’s worth every penny!

  • Great but lots of Bugs

It’s a greatly made game for the Mac. The make and feel is unique. Im having issues with the storage and cargo in the game. When full and aquiring something new, I can’t click to discard something else with this huge key I found. Another thing is there is NO Middle click button on MAC!!! lol I don’t have a middle button option. Great game.

  • Glad I gave this a try

I thought about picking this up several times during past Steam sales but never got around to it, finally bit when I tried it out on iPhone and I'm glad I did. It's really well suited for the iPhone/iPad. Didn't think it would be my type of game but it really does have that sort of cozy type of vibe. It's a lot of fun, really great for long flights, and just a lot of fun. This is the type of game I didn't know I needed and I'm glad I picked it up.

  • Fun and entertaining while also creepy

Sometimes, when a game is really good I get sucked in for hours… I just played the entire demo for 5 hours straight. That’s saying a lot since I am a mother of 3 little ones lol. It’s fun, unfortunately I cannot afford the entire game at this time otherwise I would purchase but not at this time. I would def. Recommend everyone to play the demo for sure.

  • Fun but issues (5 stars if fixed)

to complete some functions in the game, like moving inventory, you need to center click. I’m on a MacBook Air and I don’t think I’m able to center click without a 3rd party app. Other than this the game is great, but as it stands I need to buy a mouse or controller to play this game unfortunately. Will give 5 stars if this is corrected. Yes this is a demo and the full version is paid but I’m ok with that. I like that because I love being able to try before I buy

  • A must-have for Macs and iPads

    Lydikitteh

Absolutely stellar port of an already amazing game. It keeps you not only engaged the entire time with its mysteries and puzzles, but if you feel like it’s slowing down a little too much for you, you can always look for trouble. Runs extremely fluid, and I never experience any issues with lag or freezing

I have 200 hours in this game on an emulator on mac and had like 10 frames a second sometimes. But now its crispy. Yay! I have 4 100% save slots, 1 on the switch. I love this game. Btw if doing 100% speedrun it is worth it to do pale reach for anchor to teleport to rig, not timeloss.

  • This is a scam

    Longlastingflavor

You would think that you could play this game upon downloading. But once you download and open it, it will only offer a free version which is very very basic. If you wanna play more, you will have to go on to another place to pay $25 to get the actual version. It’s ridiculous, why don’t you just put your price up front? Since I don’t want to pay, this app just wasted 10 minutes of my life.

I downloaded this app and I was not able to navigate the screen. I can't see a mouse or use my trackpad to select any options that may pop up. I hit the return key and I saw an intro cartoon of the crash of this guy’s boat on the rocks. After that, I couldn't navigate anywhere. I got to the menu screens and that's very difficult to navigate as well very disappointing.
