Ancient Egyptians loved cats, Metallica hasn’t played the Super Bowl, and the Ganges is India’s largest river—all our useless knowledge is now coming in handy thanks to Trivia Crack. This bite-sized trivia game is totally irresistible, whether we’re dominating our Facebook friends in classic mode, trouncing strangers in the 12-question challenge mode, or just sneaking in a game on our Apple Watch. With its cute characters, heaps of unlockable achievements, and a massive variety of questions, we simply can’t get enough.

  • Too Many Ads

    Bethinbama

I want to like this game but it is almost impossible. There does not have to be an ad after everything. I can understand an ad if you want to continue the round. There is no need to have one after the round. The game is so frustrating with one popping up before or after everything. If they reconsider how many they put in there, I might give it a higher rating.

  • Ridiculously specific

    Jeopardy Ninja

I have to disagree with those who praise the balance and difficulty level(s) of the game. Some questions seem ridiculously specific: the max flight speed of a peregrine falcon? how much money does the US pay Cuba annually? I doubt if a biology professor or a historian could answer these questions without looking them up in a book. Other questions are so easy they could be answered by a child.

  • Ads OMG

    coop_de_woop

I redownloaded after playing the game nonstop almost 6 years ago and was extremely disappointed to find how many ads their are. Even more disappointed after I was shown an offer that said if I watched an ad I wouldn’t see any more for 30 minutes and immediately after watching a probably 45 second ad it closed and then I joined a new game and was met with another ad. Not only was it irritating it was just taunting.

  • Your generic mobile game

    Larsenv

Do you like playing with (potentially fake) opponents? Do you like playing a game with easy trivia questions? Do you like playing a game with a cluttered interface with advertisements? If so, this game is for you! I understand this game used to be more popular but I just thought of it and this is my review after playing 5 mere minutes of it! (In hindsight, I should've played more before reviewing however I believe I understand the gist)

  • Disappointed in their development.

I remember playing trivia crack years ago and loving the game, playing against friends. I decided to redownload trivia crack out of nostalgia, and a love for trivia. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when not even a full minute into having downloaded the app, I’m confronted with ai generated content from the developers. Why in the world would you add this? There was no need. It cheapens the experience, whereas before you had a clean user interface, clearly lovingly crafted. This is a disgrace. You’ve ruined fond memories of your game, and instead I am left disappointed with slop. Do better. Take it out. The ai videos are unnecessary, it makes your users feel like they’re being condescended to. They add nothing to the experience except for a clear desperate attempt to appeal with new technology, it’s lazy, sloppy, and a disgrace to the legacy of this once community building game. Shame on you.

  • Concerning lack of safety and privacy features

    Buster crumley

The trivia is cool and all but I’m very concerned about the lack of overall safety and moderation on Trivia Crack, especially given how kid-friendly the app’s design and marketing are. There are several features that make this app unsafe for minors. Users can post suggestive “stories” that clearly hint at sexual content or sending nudes, and these appear to be largely unmoderated. Live streams also allow users to show their faces with minimal oversight. While the report stream feature is helpful and appreciated, it does not make up for the broader lack of protections elsewhere in the app.One major issue is the absence of an easy, clear way to report suspicious or harmful accounts outside of streams. Anyone can message you without your permission, and private messages allow photo sharing — something that feels completely unnecessary for a trivia game and creates serious safety risks.I also had a personal experience where an older man messaged and flirted with me even though I clearly stated that I was underage. This is extremely concerning and shows how easily predators could use this app to target and groom minors. For an app that presents itself as fun, harmless, and suitable for younger users, these gaps in safety are unacceptable. Trivia Crack needs stronger moderation, clearer reporting tools across the entire app, and better privacy controls to truly protect its users.

  • Ads and AI slop

    Iamsaucydaddy

I redownloaded this game, because I had positive memories of playing it a few years ago, but I couldn’t even make it 3 days before I had to delete it again. Between the horribly over saturated ads, useless story feature, and the AI “art” (🤮🤮🤮),I don’t recognize this game anymore. I am not exaggerating when I say it feels like I spend twice as much time watching ads as actually playing the game. I understand mobile games need ads to pay their workers, but this is simply ridiculous! Are they trying to buy a yacht for every employee?! Granted, I don’t know how many people they still have employed, as they’ve fully submitted to the AI generated garbage that is quickly eroding our society (and our planet). TLDR; This isn’t the same game you played a while ago. DO NOT REDOWNLOAD. I know I won’t for a while.

  • Fun, though not always accurate

    Jenjenraven

Update: the length and frequency of the ads have become truly mind numbing. I should not have updated the app, they were tolerable before. Now it is out of control, not worth it.This game is an amusing way to kill a little time. The questions are all submitted by users and are "approved by the community," but many do get by that are inaccurate or just plain wrong. When you stumble upon these, please take time to report them so that they (hopefully) are removed from gameplay. I agree with other users it is frustrating when the "correct" answer is not factual, and I encourage all players to take some time to rate prospective questions, and to not vote on them unless you know the answer is right.

Hi! Thank you for your input. We're working on improving the quality of our question filters, as we understand how frustrating errors can be. We invite you to contact us through the game by going to Menu > Help > Support so we can implement your corrections. Furthermore, we appreciate your feedback, it helps us get better. • Beating a dead horse

    Grymbles

This could’ve continued being an innovative game that encouraged casual interaction with the people you care about, but apparently I’m an unc because I remember when this app was worth downloading. Turned on notifications because you want to know when your friends are ready to play? Too bad, anyone in the world can play you at any time and you’re expected to actually care about these matches just as much as the real ones. You can’t open the app for the first time without “Collect your reward!!” and “New challenge unlocked!!!” and whatever other endless stream of buzzwords you can imagine to encourage an unhealthy addiction to a subpar game. Do better or die already, y’all are a sore disappointment compared to the game that actually made you popular to begin with

Hello! I always was a pretty nerdy kid who liked learning— so this game really did catch my eye. I was around eleven when i started playing and it was really fun. I deleted the app around two years ago just because i grew out of it. I recently redownloaded it just to see how it has changed and my chat was filled with messaged from old men. That is not safe for any one at all. Some were asking me how i was doing while others called me pretty. I WAS ELEVEN. I think in this generation of society protecting minors from predators should be the number one goal. i think the chat should be removed for kids younger than 16. It was disgusting to see men hit on me, a innocent child who was still in elementary school. Be safe out there!

    Developer Response

Thanks for sharing your experience — we truly understand your concern. We want to assure you that today, the chat feature is disabled for all users under 13 years old, as part of our safety measures to protect minors. Feedback like yours helps us make the game safer for everyone. Have a great day!
