I love playing this game but it is incredibly frustrating when you swipe one way and Pac-Man goes a different way which almost always results in death when you are up in levels and every move counts. And it happens in virtually every round. Will change to 5 stars if they can fix this issue :) Maybe add an option in settings to have directional pad or arrows to use instead of swiping?

The game is fun, trying to see how far you can go and beating your previously set record is great. What’s not great is the controls, I cannot tell you how many times i have lost a run because the game decides I went left instead of down. It’s one of the major reasons I’m. Not giving this 5 stars. If the controls get fixed to where that issue wont be a problem then I’d happily give 5 stars then.

I love this game so much you can get like every single update and you’re like only game if you complete all of the stuff you need to do you can get coins really easy easily. You just have to complete the daily list. Yes and you haft to, download this. this game is like so good please download this. It’s really good. Well I don’t mean please please download it. Don’t don’t download it if don’t wanna download it. bye-bye.

Disclaimer that I have not played the arcade version of this game, which I understand has more content. The only measure of a game quality that I care about is how much I return to it. And I played this one a LOT. The controls are simple: you swipe to change direction, and that’s it. You can swipe at anytime before the turning point, so you don’t have to time it exactly right. Occasionally you will go in a different direction than you wanted to - the game is finicky about swiping direction. I was able to adjust eventually and the problem all but went away.The progress grid is like a map where as you complete objectives, new ones open up. Depending on the objective, you have to adjust your play tactics, which is a good thing.The absolute best part of this game is when you reach a high enough level on a board, you are as unstoppable as your ability to swipe quickly. It’s like riding the world’s fastest water tube. A couple of times I got a literal rush from an exceptional run. The power ups are interesting and mostly equally useful, although a few of them seemed to do the same thing as others. Eventually, you reach a point where the only objective is to beat your high scores, but you’ll get many hours playing it before then. Definitely recommend.

I will tell you how to play PAC-MAN 256+. 1. Swipe to move in any direction. 2. When you collect a power pellet, they will turn into vulnerable ghosts and you are able to kill them. 3. When the vulnerable ghosts blink blue and white,that means that they will turn back into the ones before you collected a power pellet. 4. If you touch ghosts that are not vulnerable or the glitch, the game will end. You can collect fruits along the way such as the cherries and strawberries. You can complete missions and get power-ups. Get coins for new worlds. I got the Classic 80’s one and only three more to go. There are even items from the game that you can click to get three missions. There are rewards to get along the way. It is like the PAC-MAN 256 game but it is a whole new game. I 100% recommend this game!

love the free version of this game and have for years, that being said I downloaded this game on my ipad without a second thought. i've only mildly played this version and it is challenging and addictive. I enjoy it for the most part but idk if it's made this way on purpose or if this is just genuine user error but maybe a quarter of the commands I'm giving the game just do not respond or go in a different direction I didn't swipe it to. very frustrating, but I haven't tried on mobile yet to see if it's the same case. I still love pac 256 and this is much more challenging but for a premium version I was mildly disappointed :[
