I have been using Todoist app for over 8 years and was looking for an app with more UI and extra features. Stuff seems ok but still missing my aspects such a Mac app, Apple Watch app, and sub tasks. Perhaps the most critical thing is the fact I am not getting notifications on tasks with a fixed due date and time. I have played with every single setting in my iPhone 17 pro max and my iPad Pro but nothing. Help please. Thanks.
Hey there, thanks for the review and for trying out Stuff so far! I’m very happy to say that all three of those features you mentioned (Mac app, Apple Watch app, and subtasks) are on the roadmap and are currently being worked on 😊 (see the roadmap at pages.themitycompany.com/roadmap). As far as the issue with Reminders, go ahead and shoot me an email at hello@themitycompany.com and we can figure out what’s going on! Thanks for letting me know!
This ADD-friendly GTD app has been a fantastic experience. I have been on the TestFlight for quite some time and the developer has been great in taking feedback and listening to his community for feature requests and putting out tutorial videos. Stuff is an amazing options to just get STUFF out of your head and organized.
Hey DcsDylan, thank you so much for the positive review! It’s experiences like yours that keep me motivated to keep building. I’m looking forward to continuing to improve Stuff - so keep up the feedback! Thanks again!
My perfect to-do list app. Really well polished and thought through. Every detail has been given attention. Really snappy, even with lots and lots of tasks. Has helped me to be more focused on what’s important, and to not let things fall through the cracks. Love it! P.S., I’m also the developer, so may be biased 😂
This app is excellent! You can tell a lot of thought and care was put into each feature and the design. This app has everything you didn’t even know you were missing from a todo list before.
Thank you for the great review! So great to hear that you’re liking it 😊
FINALLY an app that doesn’t feel like too much. As someone who gets overwhelmed pretty easily, I notice that other platforms emphasize all the noise and urgency of tasks in my life. This is LITERALLY the only app I can open without feeling pulled in a million directions. I can get on, do what I need to do, and get off without feeling mentally drained. Exactly what I need. I have contacted the developer many times about questions and concerns I have regarding a few of this company’s apps, and I have received very prompt and extremely respectful replies. Big fan of Stuff!
I’ve been using Stuff for weeks now, and despite what some reviews say about it being a “knock-off”, I think the developer actually gets what made Things 3 great while adding features we’ve been asking for. The design is gorgeous, and the interface feels immediately familiar, which made switching over painless. What really sets Stuff apart is the dependency feature, this is something Things 3 has never had, and it’s game changer for managing complex projects. Plus, having due dates for headings? Brilliant. The app is simple to use an aesthetically pleasing, which matters when you’re opening it multiple times a day. That’s said, there are a few bugs here and there that need ironing out, and I’m hoping feature updates will add location based reminders in the ability to attach photos and file. These would really round out the feature set. Overall, if you’ve been looking for a Things 3-style app that actually moves a needle forward on functionality, stuff is worth checking out. The developer clearly understands task management and good design.
Thank you for the awesome review! I really appreciate you taking time to write this up!Great news includes that more features on Dependencies are on the roadmap, making them even more powerful. It’s great to hear that you’re loving that feature so far.On the same note, a lot of work is currently being done on resolving blips and making your experience in Stuff smoother with each update. Same thing on your requested features - also things that I’m looking forward to making available. Thanks again - I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts!
