I can’t seem to find the immersion, home, etc control box which is shown in the video (and I believe was accessible in the past) -maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I looked everywhere I could think - I tried zooming very small so the entire solar system was in my field of view but still couldn’t see the controls- thank you for all your help and work on this app!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback and kind words about the app. We truly appreciate your support!Sorry to hear you’re having trouble locating the control panel. We’d love to help resolve this for you as quickly as possible. This is an app, like the Vision Pro itself, that must be experienced to fully appreciate. The developer/s have done an amazing job of making our solar system somehow, impossibly personal(!). Using our eyes and hand gestures, the planets and their moons can be moved from light years away to impossibly close with a look and a pinch. That’s just the beginning. Check it out.
Thank you for the glowing review MatthewWanderer! We're still just getting started and are grateful for any feedback / suggestions to help make exploring space more accessible and fun than ever before.
This is definitely a great app in education
I appreciate your feedback. Thank you very much for great review
Awesome app but might I ask why Saturn is bigger than the sun and Jupiter? I question the realism but love the idea and hope you will add on it in the future. I recommend adding an asteroid belt and maybe the dwarf planets.
Hi Randomuser12113 thanks for the shoutout! You're absolutely right, as part of onboarding we also call out that planetary objects are not shown to scale. Space Vision currently prioritizes simulating orbital motion based on NASA data and ease of navigating in immersive space. We'll look to adjust object scale in future updates, and hopefully add more cosmic entities like dwarf planets and asteroid belts to our roadmap as we scale too! || UPDATE: In our latest build, we've taken your feedback to heart and enhanced the way we scale our solar system simulation using a more standard lerp function to achieve an even better balance between accuracy and ease of navigation. Take a look and let us know what you think.
Works like a charm
Nice
Cool
This app is really cool, and the immersive solar system is particularly enjoyable. One thing I did notice is that the orbits of the star link satellites seem to be incorrect. Each satellite seems to be in its own orbital plane rather than satellites, following each other within the same plane otherwise really enjoyable experience.
Thanks for your feedback. I will note and consider your suggestions for next updated. I see your concern with star-links. The amount of satellites for each orbit is reduced to one to optimize performance, they serve just to visualize the way orbits are positioned. After good performance optimization I will definitely consider adding proper amount of them to visualize them going in a chain.
Space and 3D is always awesome. I like how good the models are but the navigation is super clunky. It’s not obvious how to go back and forth. Also handling the 3D models is quite difficult without two finger pinch zoom. It is basically click and drag with slide bars.
Thanks very much for your suggestions, I will work on making it more UX friendly as soon as I can
Buggy first attempt at using it froze up couldn’t use gestures to move around not a lot of time using it, so I’ll give it three stars as a placeholder.
Thanks for your feedback. Version 0.2.0 should fix majority of issues. Expect even better performance and responsiveness in next versions
