Parry chain saws and battle brutes in this updated take on the horror classic that looks scary good on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and any iPad with the M1 chip or later.

  • Loveee it

Great graphics for a mobile game—especially considering it’s running on a phone. I’ve been playing since it was released on the App Store, and it’s been a really solid experience overall. There is occasional lag, but nothing unbearable or annoying. I use a controller and screen mirror it to my TV, and it works really well that way. I paid for the full game and haven’t had any issues. Aside from that, it’s a great experience and definitely worth playing! <3

  • Works decent on iPhones

Some frame drops here and there but overall a fantastic port. And the simplicity of no graphics settings is welcome imo. Mobile gaming should be simple. Maybe a 30fps Quality-40fps balance-60fps performance would be better than what some other RE games like Village have, and it provides a few options while keeping it simple.

  • Great Game; Visibility is an Issue

There are levels that are so dark, it is impossible to see. You basically guide a character aimlessly through a black screen. I have tried turning up the brightness and played in a dark room to little benefit. I would be furious if I was a designer only to have the developer turn everything to black. I still recommend the purchase as it is a great game otherwise.

  • Needs auto fire

Great work bringing such a blockbuster game noticed Resident evil 2 has auto fire this game needs that as well. This is the newer version should have all the features not buying another game until all features are added across the board

  • Storage Size Bug (Shows Double Space in iPhone Storage)

    Ys·wans

I noticed an abnormal storage issue with the iOS version of Resident Evil 4.The game itself normally occupies around 32 GB, which is expected. However, when I check Settings → General → iPhone Storage, the game sometimes shows almost double the size (around 60+ GB).What’s strange is that if I go back to the previous page and then re-enter the storage page, the size sometimes returns to the normal 32 GB. This inconsistency happens repeatedly.I have contacted Apple Support, and they mentioned it could be related to app compatibility or optimization issues with the new iOS 26 system.I hope the development team can look into this storage display / allocation issue and improve compatibility with the latest iOS version. Otherwise, it can be confusing and concerning for users with limited storage space.

  • Console-Killer Experience: I Beat It With Touch Controls

This is more than just a port—it's a flawless technical achievement on mobile. I initially doubted I could genuinely play a game as complex and intense as Resident Evil 4 without a controller, and even worried the iPhone's titanium frame would overheat and become painful. I was completely wrong on both counts. The customization of the on-screen touch controls is phenomenal. Once you spend a few minutes optimizing the layout, the game becomes surprisingly intuitive. I was able to master the aiming, quick turns, and parries entirely with touch, proving that this AAA title is absolutely beatable and deeply immersive without an external gamepad.Furthermore, despite running the game for long sessions, the thermal management of the iPhone 15 Pro Max was perfect. Yes, the titanium frame gets noticeably warm, but the heat never became uncomfortable, painful, or hot enough to trigger the thermal warning. The device stabilized the temperature while maintaining a consistently smooth frame rate.Capcom, you nailed the port, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is officially a hardcore gaming console. If you were skeptical about the controls, don't be—jump in!
