And you thought your neighbors were bad. Fight werewolves, mutants, and worse to rescue your daughter in this stunningly detailed survival horror game for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and any iPad with the M1 or M2 chip.

  • Perfect game

Resident Evil Village is a MASTERPIECE of modern horror! 😱 From the first minute, he immerses you in a cursed town full of wolves, vampires and that GODDESS Lady Dimitrescu who will haunt you in dreams (and in eternal memes!). Spectacular graphics in RE Engine, oppressive atmosphere that makes your hair stand on end, and a perfect balance between frantic action and scares that leave you breathless. Ethan's story is addictive, with twists that blow your head. I played 15 hours in a row non-stop! If you love survival horror, THIS is mandatory. 11/10, Capcom did it again. 🧛‍♀️🏰🔥

  • Crashes in some certain areas and no Ray tracing option available in iPhone and Mac and iPad

When testing it it runs good in high graphics everything is good but in some certain areas it crashes immediately and even there is no option Ray tracing available in graphics settings so please add Ray tracing and some bug fixes and improvements. Thank you and don’t forget to please add Ray tracing like Apple said and announce that A17 pro and latest hardware have Ray tracing . Thank you

  • Almost Perfect Game!

The game it's self is really good, but if you don't know what your doing graphics wise, the game will crash. I have a iPad Pro 4th generation, with the M2 Chip and I wanted to test the limits, I put the settings at max for everything to test the M2 capabilities. It held the game really well at 120 Hertz refresh rate, but then 5 minutes in, the game reset the entire iPad. I would recommend adding a limiter to the setting menu, something like “based on your device capabilities, it would be best to put these settings for the best performance” and etc. and maybe add a ignore option for people to have their fun with the settings, otherwise you’ll be needing to go through each settings to see what the max is while the game runs smoothly. The game is awesome, the M series chip is truly powerful, but I think this game could run better on a MacBook M series chip. Something like the MacBook Pro with a M3 Max chip. But anyways, don’t set your settings too high or it might crash your entire iPad or iPhone 15 pro with the A17 Pro chip. Either way I’m still very impressed with how both chips handles the game at such high settings. The game is very good, and the gameplay is very well done even if it’s not at the max settings. Some adjustments is required to the game settings wise with performance, but story wise and device capabilities, I’m super impressed! I would recommend this game to my friends on both a desktop computer and IOS/iPadOS.

  • Great with an iPad Pro ‘M’ class & Dual Sense Controller via USB-C. Make an M1 iPad Mini!

Having played this on several platforms now. I can definitely say that iOS holds up well to the MacOS AND PC versions. It is responsive when using a Sony Dual Sense via USB-C and the upcoming ‘Gaming Lens’ mount. Sadly the ideal iPad for gaming that would compete well with small AMD gaming consoles like the Steam Deck, would be the iPad Mini, which was notably missing from any 2023 Apple events. With an ‘M’ class processor, 8GB memory & 256GB or 512GB storage, along with 5G connectivity, would make this both a cloud and local gaming “Elephant” to contend with. Otherwise, like the Goldilocks tale, running Resident Evil Village is either too big or too small on what it can be run on, with the iPad Mini being “just right” if it was available. Also, even the M1 runs hot and you can see the battery drain right before your eyes. I’d say 1-2 hours will be max on a charge. Of course you can run it charging, but then you lose the low latency USB controller connection. You can use a powered USB hub, but than you are left with tangle of cables, and frankly this is suppose to be a “mobile” experience. I guess the good thing is the competition doesn’t fair very well either for battery powered use.Overall, a smart direction for Apple. Oh and don’t forget ‘Alien Isolation’ also exist, and will run on the iPad Mini 6th generation too.

  • Fix performance issues, please… pretty please?

    .. - / --. --- --- -..

Great game, love it, but the performance issues are just too much sometimes. don’t get me wrong, this is a technical marvel and it’s crazy. How a game like this can run on an iPhone. But I select 60 FPS and it fluctuates between around 20 to 45 FPS most of the time and it’s a bit infuriating. When the game is running at 60 FPS it looks amazing even on performance mode but you expect performance mode to make it run at 60 FPS all the time. Luckily the frame drops don’t affect the gameplay that much for me, but it would be nice to have it at a solid 60 FPS. Also 120 FPS does nothing because of the constant frame drops so it’s not even worth talking about. By the way I’m playing the game on an iPhone 15 Pro with a ps5 controller and loving the game, and will buy RE 4 Remake on iPhone and AC Mirage when they come out on iPhone as well. I don’t own any of these games on console and I don’t plan on getting them for console, so I’d like them to perform well. So yeah if the developers just make it run at a constant 60 FPS like 90% of the time this would be absolutely incredible, but as it stands it’s more of just a flex on people like when I started playing it at the theater in front of my friends because I was bored. Also the screen gets way too hot as well, I don’t know if they can do anything about that but it feels like about 2 minutes into the game I stop using touch controls because my fingers get burnt every time I touch the screen. But overall, 4/5 or 8/10 game with performance issues that need to be ironed out. Goodnight tri-state area.

  • Hate to rate it 1 star, but it’s all it’s worth now.

This is a 5 star game. Capcom’s out here almost single handedly keeping the mobile gaming trend alive with their full console game ports. People are genuinely in shock when I tell them these games are on iPhone, and run as well as they do. But now we have to ask a question: why do people like mobile games? The answer is so they can play the games they love anywhere. So why in the name of god did Capcom lock people out of playing their games without a constant internet connection? This was my go to game series for traveling, airplanes, long car rides through the country, and gaming on the go without having to worry about bandwidth or cell service. If I need cell service to play, why wouldn’t I just stream the game from my Xbox and get better graphics anyways? This new connection required ruins everything that made this game series on iOS so good. It’s a 5 star game ruined by 1 star management decisions, and it makes it feel as if spending $40 on an iPhone game isn’t enough to “earn their trust.” Were that many people pirating iOS games? Really? I can no longer recommend this game to anybody, and frankly I’m embarrassed I ever recommended it in the first place. Hopefully someone else can pick up where Capcom dropped the ball and keep true mobile games alive. Until then, I’m done with this game series and Capcom, since I have no doubts they’ll ever remove the internet requirement.
