With its friendly approach and awesome updates, Duolingo’s long been one of our favorite apps for learning another language. Its secret: making the process genuinely fun. Engaging mini-games test your reading, writing, and speaking skills, and joining a club (where you can encourage and compete with others) adds a great social element. Bonus: all those languages and games are available for free!

  • Totally Recomend! A suggestion though

So I absolutely love this app! I’ve learned so many languages with it and it helps you learn in a game form! The thing is, in the tab where you like other people’s achievements, the people used to just be my friends and people I friended, but now it is random strangers too, and I dislike that so much it kind of makes me feel unsafe, because I don’t even know these people. It would be amazing to be able to change that on settings or something! Thanks so much! —positivitymakesadaybetter

  • I love it, but I want to try something new

I love Duolingo, I love how it helps me learn Spanish to help me improve my Spanish class grades. I also love the new updates and major changes for Duolingo. I have a little problem, I loved the characters that pop up on screen, but I’m getting bored that they’re all 3D in an angle. I was wondering if you can add a setting where the characters can appear in 2D like in the OG Duolingo era? (The screenshots on App Store page for example). Thanks for reading this and I hope you appreciate this.

Duolingo helped me learn french and chess so easily and it is so much fun!!!!! It is so fun especially when you add friends and make a goal together! I love Duolingo! Duolingo takes everything step by step which is what makes it easy and fun to learn. It is really helpful especially when you are having trouble with a language or a subject, it helps a lot. I definitely would recommend for people who are having trouble with subjects or languages to download this app. Thank you Duo!!

  • The best thing ever

Duolingo is the best language app in the world! It has helped me so much in my language I am learning. It has so many languages to learn also, it’s not just a Spanish learning app. I don’t even have super Duolingo and I have still made so much progress. It also gives you ads but they are all Duolingo themed ones not the dumb ones you see all the time. I kind of think the duo ads are hilarious sometimes😂😂. I hope you can consider doing Duolingo. It really is the best thing ever. ❤️🦋😁😊

  • Thank you so much

Duolingo has been helping me so much with Spanish. I am so happy now my number one language is Spanish. That’s all I talk in except for English to my friends because they don’t understand Spanish but my parents and other family members do and I’m Latina so I kind of like to learn Spanish and you think I was just so fun for it. Sometimes I get too distracted on Spanish though and I forget to do all my other work and stuff like homework and other stuff it’s OK. Spanish is better.

  • You don’t set us up for success for legendary lessons

    mgemb

I completed all the levels for a language and now I’m doing the daily reviews. The normal levels are too easy and extremely repetitive. And when trying to do the legendary lessons I’m not set up for success because I have not reviewed any of that content since doing the levels and it’s extremely difficult! You gotta fix that, you cannot give me the simplest stuff over and over and then leave me to fail every time I try the legendary mode! Very frustrating!
