Great app, but there are bugs, and my attempts to get them resolved through your support people only result in people who clearly don’t know what they’re talking about asking me one stupid question after another. 1. Closed captioning is always turned on for every stream. I have to turn it off every time. There is no way for me to tell it not to automatically turn it on. 2. Not a bug, but I enjoyed the Tabletop mode. Why did you take it away? Or, perhaps more accurately, why are no games available with it? I consider this a 5 star app. I’ll update my rating once that closed captioning bug gets fixed.

The app looks amazing on the Vision Pro. To be able to have multiple games on with one giant screen and up to four (?) smaller screens on each side of it with all different live games is an incredible feeling. It feels like you have your own expensive entertainment center. Obviously, you can’t share it with the boys, but it’s another example of why the Vision Pro might not be as crazy of a purchase as some like to make it out to be. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because some games are, I guess, under some kind of blackout and you cannot watch your local team, or certain teams. It’s the league’s app, and it’s not a cheap service, so you would expect to get all of the games you’d like for the season. I will not continue after the trial ends because I’m a Heat fan and I want to watch their games but am unable to on the app. Overall though, this is an incredible piece of work that’s been done to take full advantage of the Vision Pro’s capabilities. Well done!

This app is amazing. Thank you to Adam Silver and all the developers who worked on making this app. I love being able to watch 5 games at once and being able to make the screen as large as I want. A few things I ask that the developers add to this app:I hope you all can add 4k support for the NBA tv games since certain NBAtv games are in 4k on YouTubetv and Directv. Would also like to see Lakers, Nuggets, and Bulls home games in 4k since those have also been available in 4k on directv. Would be amazing if you all could eventually add Dolby Vision/HDR support and Dolby Atmos immersive sound.I also hope you all can add a feature to watch 8-12 games at the same time. Currently Directv lets you watch 8 NBA League pass games at once. So would be nice if you all could add an option to watch 8-12 games at once since Vision Pro should easily be able to handle it. Thanks again for all the hard work you guys have put into this app. As a hardcore NBA fan, I am grateful and appreciative of the innovation and creativity and work you all have put into this app. I have been a League Pass subscriber since 2005 and will continue to subscribe. You guys have take NBA League Pass to the next level.

Really love this app when it works it allows you to watch the NBA unlike ever before you can watch your front sidelines. You can watch it from above the rim you can watch specific players. It’s amazing during the commercial breaks. You get to just watch the players sitting on the bench attitudes, etc. it’s a great one thing that needs work though is the ability to get back to the main menu after you’re away from the app for a day you’ll come back. Have to delete the app re-download it because you’re in a continuous state of watching replays from the previous game that you watched days before please fix

Sometimes I want to watch a game but just have a small screen close to me. For some reason the app only lets you make the game so small, which is still too large when I just want to casually have a game open off to the side. Please just give us more control over how big or small the screen can be and this app would be perfect in my opinion

Across all the platforms, I am shocked that the developers for this app have jobs. Try watching a game on a delay for more than five minutes before the app locks up and eventually crashes. It is, admittedly, an awesome experience until you have to keep restarting the game over and over. I would assume most of the positive reviews don’t watch a game long enough for this to happen. It is incredibly frustrating issues like this have been long-standing for the Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad as wellwill open tickets, but bugs are never really addressed. It blows my mind that the NBA keeps paying these developers.

One of the premiere experiences on the Vision Pro at launch. Navigating the app feels great. I love being able to watch multiple games at a time. I’m very grateful the NBA prioritized this native app for launch and I can’t wait to see what they add to it in the future.

4th update Feb 24, 2025: after a lengthy exchange with 10 different people over email support, I’m no closer to a resolution. Support’s final answer was essentially, “Wait for a future update and hope for the best.” So, yeah. 3rd Update Feb 3, 2025: video playback error on stream switch still persists. Video quality is terrible. App will get stuck on a game and need a full force quit to resolve. All of these bugs have been noted in reviews by multiple users with no resolution. I come back to check on each update only to be disappointed. Stay away from this app.UPDATED January 11th 2025. This issue still persists. I’ve logged out. Re-linked my LP sub. Deleted the entire app. Restarted my device. I still get a playback error when I go to switch streams which then produces that playback error on ALL streams. Updated to 2.2. I can open a game but switching streams pops an error and breaks the app

I have never watched a Basketball Game in my whole life, but I watched the whole Immersive one. Really great experience! Thanks for letting us watch the first one for free and thanks for showing the potential of Apple Vision Pro!

Would love to tell ya about what using this app is like, but I can’t even get it to launch. All I see is a blank window with the endlessly spinning progress wheel. Yes, I’ve already tried deleting and reinstalling it, rebooting the app, etc. Yes, I have plenty of storage space left. Yes, all my other apps are loading and working fine. Yes, I have a good internet connection and wi-fi. IT. DOES. NOT. WORK.
