The American Airlines app is very helpful, but when participating in a promotions that offers miles and loyalty points and bonus miles, they are not placed in your account when user has completed all of the requirements of the promotion. You wait 10 days /10 weeks to see your Miles and loyalty points but they still do not show in your account. I think the app should provide a status to the user as soon as the user has completed all requirements of the promotion.

The American Airlines app is wonderful for viewing airport maps and includes a prompt for walking directions to your next gate. That is especially helpful with tight connections or an unfamiliar airports! The app is also invaluable for quickly making a flight change if a flight is cancelled or delayed, saving the hassle of waiting in line at the airport customer service desk. Plus, the access to free inflight entertainment is great!

This is one of the best airline apps I’ve used. It’s intuitive, easy to navigate, and presents exactly the information you need without overwhelming you. While there’s some promotional content, it doesn’t distract from the important details about your flight. The layout is clean and user-friendly, and I especially appreciate that it clearly shows both the boarding time and the departure time.

I have used the American Airlines card for about seven years now and it’s my main line of credit as it always proves to be a profitable return! I fly numerous times a year, both stateside and abroad. The app is easy to navigate, allowing me to redeem points, update travel plans, cancel flights with no issues, and receive preferential treatment for boarding and baggage. I am a loyal customer of AA, so consider doing the same!

Being computer savvy and introduced to technology at an early age, I take for granted how complicated navigating an app on a small iPhone screen can be. However, with this American Airlines app, I was able to train my 80 something old parents how to negotiate the app to the level of competent in less than an hour is truly amazing. And it is all thanks to AA’s skillfulness along with experience and a thoughtful approach in developing such a truly user-friendly app.

I was a loyal customer at Southwest for 30 years. After Gary Kelley resigned I knew things would change and they did. The beauty of it is this. I gave American Airlines a try and flew them from Cleveland to Phoenix and back! Customer service, the condition of planes, and the in-flight experience was so positive and fun, I just needed one trip to make my decision. Goodbye previous airline, American Airlines has my business from this point forward.
