I bought this app because it advertise heavily that it could transcribe video into text. I have an iPhone 13 using iOS 26. It turns out that iPhones up to version 15 do not have the native circuitry that allows this meaning that the Detail app is useless.Although iOS 26 is wonderful if you have a new phone. Which is as actually a minority of iPhone users. That means that the rest of us are left out. Thumbs down👎👎👎👎

I had high expectations for the Detail app, but honestly the exporting times are terrible. It feels like you can’t even get a simple video out without waiting forever. The app does not perform the way it advertises. They promote fast editing, dynamic layouts, easy reactions, and simple exporting — but the reality is the exact opposite.Every time I try to export content, the render either freezes, takes ridiculously long, or fails completely. For a platform that’s supposed to help content creators move quicker, Detail actually slows you down. It kills momentum, wastes time, and throws off your production workflow. I shouldn’t be waiting an hour to export a short video.At this point the app feels more like beta software than a polished finished product. The concept is cool, but the performance is nowhere near reliable enough. Hopefully they fix it, but right now it’s basically unusable for anyone doing fast content.

None of it worked I tried so hard. I downloaded the video and went to play, but for some reason, the audio from the actual person was separated from the music the whole time and it wouldn’t work, no matter how many times I restarted my phone, redid detail and everything. It’s like I had so much expectation and they promised me so much but none of it worked and I’m very disappointed and quite sad. I hope to see these bugs fixed and if it’s my fault and if I did something wrong, I will fully come back and change my reading and write a review.

This app is not beginner-friendly. The user interface is confusing, tedious, and poorly designed. Downloading recorded content to the phone I am actively using is unnecessarily difficult, and the instructions provided are unclear and inconsistent.Additionally, the app frequently freezes when my phone is facing it, making it impossible to lock the screen, return to the home screen, or regain control without force-closing the app. This severely disrupts recording and makes the app unreliable for practical use.

I downloaded this app because I absolutely loved all the features that social media said it had. One of my favorite features is being able to upload small clips. Combine them all together. Add the captions and have the special effects of the zoom these are very simple things, but it’s hard to find one app where you can do all of these things. I typically use one filter in Snapchat so I’d like to do short three minute clips and then clip them all together. Make it look like one whole video and like that I can use my filter. For this it has been very useful I also have a podcast and I can record myself for this podcast very easily and then edit the podcast. However, the two times that I have had very good interviews with people that have been out of state One in Atlanta and one in Texas I recorded the podcast and the other person’s audio did not get recorded both times. They both downloaded the app. They both had all the features exactly how they should have them. I reached out to detail directly and I received no help. It’s very frustrating because when you are doing a podcast and someone is taking time out of their schedule to interview with you and you don’t have the audio till later on post this you look unprofessional. This has been very frustrating for me and this is why I can only give this app this amount of stars and not a full five. It has a lot of bugs and needs to be fixed if it wants to continue to grow. I really wish that they could fix it because it’s a very easy user-friendly app. Lastly, today, I tried to do this thing where I grabbed all my clips and tried to edit them and again todayit was available and said it needed an update, but there is no update for it again another bug that needs to get fixed.

I’ve been on social media for nearly half a decade and have amassed over 300k followers and millions of views so I’ve used my fair share of video editing platforms. This one is different. And I like different! It’s super easy to use and the ability to record and edit in the same page is amazing. And it’s just getting started? Yeah…CapCut has some serious competition. Now there was one feature that I didn’t see that I hope can be added. The ability to overlay video & audio on top of one another. And maybe separate audio from video along with that. Just because I personally use that a lot in my editing. Other than that, can’t give it anything less than 5 stars!!!

Finally! Most other apps are a video editor plus AI this feels like an AI that will edit your video. The segments it chooses are almost as good as opus But with the yearly model are far more affordable and it’s easier to access if you’re filming with your phone anyway. it takes hours of work it makes it happen in minutesThe segments it chooses aren’t one after the other. It’ll also bounce around in the timeline, which is cool.I like CapCut, but it almost feels like too much Where is detailed does exactly that focuses on what mattersIt’s intuitive and it takes all of these awesome features that I can do for a video and put them Saving me so much more storage than having a bunch of apps to do all thisYou can even link your account to your social media And upload from within the appSeriously, this is such a powerful tool for anyone seeking to start their own business I can see myself almost exclusively using this appI can’t wait to see how this app grows. It’s already off to a great start.

OK folks like my title says I'm pretty impressed with this software for this app already and I've only used it really maybe twice and I'm really liking the combination of features that you need multiple apps to accomplish all in one place.I'm definitely going to buy the pro version not because I need any of the features in the pro version because I want to support the continuation and improvements that are I'm sure are in the future all the planned upgrades and things like that that I've heard talked about a red talked about in the reviews.I want to see where this will go.

Overall, the app has the potential to be GREAT. But there’s a lot of bugs, for example, the app freezes and closes when you try to edit certain things. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it is frustrating when it does happen. The audio and AI options could be better. Also, the video quality when recording with others on split screen gets distorted sometimes. Overall it has the potential to be great, but I wasn’t able to create a final video with the bugs etc.. but, I already paid $50 for this app so I’m hoping that there will be improvements soon that way I don’t feel like my money is wasted.
