These articles are so interesting and well written. I am a READER…I love to read and I love to learn. And still, these bite size articles give me something that has been unattainable to me since I was in primary school. They almost give that passage you have to scan on the yearly standardized tests to answer multiple choice questions, but without the pressure, in style and length. AND the info it’s giving is full manuscript with all the fat cut out (or only the fat, I love the juicy fat) for a quick read. Want to wow your trivia team? Want to know a little about everything? Looking for a spark to love life again and feel less doomed here on Earth?!?!? (No, really!) It’s reigniting my love for learning at the base level, and giving me comfort about the nature of humanity on a deeper level (like, why did I just cry reading an article about the printing press?!?!?). This Earth is amazing, humans are actually so neat, history is so vast and interesting, thanks for the reminder Nerdish.
Thank you so much for sharing this — it truly means a lot to us. We’re incredibly happy to hear that Nerdish is helping reignite your love for reading and learning in such a meaningful way. That sense of curiosity, wonder, and connection to humanity is exactly what we hope to spark. We’re grateful you’re here, and we can’t wait to keep exploring amazing ideas with you.
Now I could spend this entire review just telling you how I think it’s so cool but I’m gonna tell you my favorite saying that really works with this app if you’re tired of the same old thing then stop doing the same old thing. This app really showed me new things and it didn’t keep me held back on the same topic because I didn’t get it absolutely perfect. It makes sure that you remember things the definition of insanity is to repeatedly do the same thing and expect a different outcome so stop doing the same thing and try something new.
Thank you for taking the time to share this. We’re really glad the app helped you discover new things and explore beyond familiar topics. It means a lot to hear that the experience felt refreshing and encouraging — that’s exactly what we aim for. We appreciate you being part of the journey with us
I like this app, a lot! But I want to ask the Developers two things:1) How often do you plan your add more content? Currently, I count less than 150 articles spread across 8 different categories. I probably would read 3 articles a day, which would mean I would have nothing new to look at in less than 2 months. Even if I only read 1 article a day, I still would finish this app in less than half a year. Why should I subscribe annually??2) Obviously you can charge whatever you want for a subscription, but I feel $40 annually is too high, especially when one starts to look at other apps in this category. I would like to see you offer a one time purchase price instead of a subscription. I would probably pay a one time fee of $40, if I had an assurance of content to be continually added for some time. Just my 2¢Again, I do like this app. Please consider adding a one time purchase option, and comment on adding more content. Thank you! 🥂
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback, we really appreciate it.Based on what we see in the app, our readers move at very different speeds. So far, only a small number of users have read through the entire library from first article to last. That said, we absolutely encourage and welcome more intensive reading habits like yours, and we know such readers exist. This is exactly why we offer not only annual subscriptions, but also flexible monthly and 3-month options at a lower price point, so everyone can choose a format that fits their reading pace and goals. We do add new articles regularly, and expanding the content library is an ongoing part of our work. At the same time, our main priority remains depth, clarity, and editorial quality rather than sheer volume.Thank you again for using Nerdish and for sharing such considered input.
This is a great idea - spending 10 minutes or so learning some interesting new things is a better way to start the morning than scrolling through social media! The editing is lacking for a lot of articles though, and I don’t know how many writers you have, but some of them are not good - amateurish writing, poor grammar, etc. I realize it has to be a lot of work putting out new content daily, but I’d just as soon work my way through the existing articles and wait for better written material. But overall, the material is very interesting, and I learn a little something new every day! Suggestion: add a “needs proofreading“ button.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're glad to hear you’re finding the content interesting and that it’s become a positive part of your morning routine. We appreciate you pointing out the areas for improvement as well. You're right that producing content is a lot of work, but maintaining quality is important, and we’re working on improving consistency across articles. Your idea about adding a “needs proofreading” button is a good one, and we’ll look into it.Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience with us.
Topics and knowledge in bite size pieces that give one insight they may or may not have been exposed to previously. If your seeing a lot of familiar topics and nothing new is stimulating your quest for knowledge there is hope in Nerdish as one can give feedback at the end of the bite size reading topic to guide the topics and skill level Nerdish is suggesting for your reading topics. There is so much to choose from suggested daily and alternating each time one opens the app. Try it you might learn something and if nothing else you’ll learn how to delete an app.
I’m literally looking for something that I can open everyday and learn something new. I thought it app was it. And it might still be. But, my first 3 minutes in the app, I was abruptly stopped by an add. Which is fine, I haven’t paid the subscription, I get it. However, the add was four minutes long and then it wouldn’t let me get back to the reading! No matter what I did, even when I closed the app and tried to go back into it, the add was waiting for me. I’m not sure if it it’s the app, or my phone, but I’m not having this issue with any other app. If I do have to watch adds, that fine, but I at least want to be able to get back to the content I was reading before.
