  • Content is good, ads are 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

    atldesigner

The content overall is good in terms of the info provided about Python. You mostly have to read it so it’s not about actually coding like in some other apps like Mimo. Huge drawback of this app is the ads. They are WAY too frequent and WAY too long. There’s no Skip function to skip an ad partway thru and the ads are really and annoyingly long. It really disrupts the learning flow. The free version of Mimo only has a ten second ad between segments. By comparison these are 30 second plus ads. They truly detract from what would otherwise be a decent learning experience

  • 😫📢 Every move you make, another Ad you’ll take!

    ActionAppGuy

I haven't begun to use the app because every step I complete in just browsing launches an ad! The app is free and you get what you pay for, but it’s very off putting! There should be a warning that it’s a “trial” version with ads and there’s a Pro version without (which wasn’t displayed in proximity on my 10” iPad).(Also, someone commented that the Pro version still had ads.)The constant pestering reveals the programmer’s profit oriented motive and initially puts the quality of the tutoring in question. I intensely dislike a “hard sell”! The forced exposure to ad bombardment to try the app makes me want to delete it and look at the other choices of apps that teach programming. After I try to spend some time using this app, I’ll re-rate it – if I haven’t just abandoned it, preferring to buy an ad-free one. 🤢

  • Past basic

    Diefit

Starting out most examples will run without errors in suggested environments. At the end of basic examples errors start occurring. Tried using online IDE and the same errors occurred. So I’m forced to stop at the end of basic and look else where for free lessons to self teach myself python. May buy a book but Que Publishing does not make books anymore so I don’t know of or have come across a company that can even come close to Que publishing. It’s really aggravating to buy a useless book due to bad examples.

  • Reviewed, really nice. Better than most.

I have looked at a lot of programming apps, this has a lot of free stuff, you can tell that much work was done to collect and display programming material for easy use and understanding. I am going through as many programming apps to see which are the better one’ and what you get with his one is pretty good for free, pro looks really good as well.

    Developer Response

Glad you liked our app. Also, we are already working on a big update of this app. Fixing a lot of bug and adding many cool new features. We will push the new update very soon. So stay tuned.

Really nice and organized and user friendly with many likable features. And is really useful for me to sit down sometimes and just scroll through to get a better understanding of python etc.
