If you’re looking to restore (or introduce) a little order to your life, Craft will fall somewhere between “immediately helpful” and “enough to bring a tear to your eye.” This productivity app is so versatile that it’s hard to define: It’s for taking notes, writing to-do lists, organizing important documents, organizing unimportant documents, stashing away random scraps and, ultimately, transforming your digital detritus into a blissfully organized system that’s easy to navigate and pleasing to look at.
This app is absolutely wonderful! It is such a great addition to the AVP ecosystem, and is extremely well built. I like to write in markdown, and was on the hunt for a simple markdown editor when I stumbled on what felt like that app I didn’t know I wanted till I found it. When I told my wife, her first question was how much does it cost, and having not explored the subscription model I said “I have no idea, but I’d pay a hundred dollars for it, its that good!”. Well, turns out, thats pretty much what it costs if you want to use the tool seriously. I’m not sure if I’m sold on that being worthwhile price **yearly**. I’m giving it serious consideration, but I was really hoping for an icloud file based solution. I’m not sold on the solution as a whole for me, but it really is a great example of a top notch native utility app. I tip my hat to the devs for their hard work in bringing such a powerful app to spacial computing! Praise aside, do know it does cause performance issues with the AVP - I find it to be totally fine if I just leave it propped up next to my MVD and I’m not moving it around or running a bunch of other apps, but YMMV. Try before you buy. You’re not out anything to test out the free version, or do a trial of the pro before you commit - and it is worth trying!
Yes, it’s largely iOS Craft with a Vision Pro wrapper. Sure, they could do more to add Vision Pro features. But as an avid Craft user, I’m incredibly thankful that they’re developing for the Vision Pro at all and I’ve found this app, even at this early stage, to be easy to work in for my particular use cases. Thanks, team, for pushing this out fairly early in the Vision Pro life cycle!
This is a great start to Craft’s Vision Pro journey and an exceptionally well-designed app. Thanks for exploring this new and incredibly exciting platform!
Feels like it was designed purely in Simulator by someone who has never worn a Vision Pro, as many parts of the app simply can’t work, or are extremely awkward. A fine iPad app, but a terrible visionOS app. Oh… and $100 to $600 per year via IAP for something that is BARELY a document viewer.
Hi Kalani, Really sorry to hear that you don't like the first version of our Vision Pro app - if you could highlight a single thing that you would like to see improved? Thanks,Viktor & the Team
