I think this is the first review I've ever left of an app. I bought an ipad because I am realizing that as MUCH as I LOVE paper, I am going to need to adapt, especially with travel. I was drawn to good notes, One note and others - on a constant trial running each through their paces for what feels like weeks! I must say, however, nothing can compatre to Penbook. Sure its far from perfect, nothing is, BUT the team is constantly bringing out new features! The interface is simple, elegant, and the closest thing to writing on paper as possible. It syncs, sure... it's not perfect on a phone or mac, but it shouldn't be. The iPad is where it shines. Dang... thank you for helping me transition and maintain my analog side in a quickly transitioning digital world!!

This is my 3rd year of Penbook. As someone who truly loves paper, this app feels like a worthy replacement-and in many ways, an upgrade! It works beautifully with my Apple Pencil, with a smooth, natural writing experience that makes note-taking a joy instead of a chore.The variety of template pages is incredible, whether I'm journaling, planning, organizing. I especially love how easy it is to create multiple notebooks for each thing I need/want, and simple to find what I am looking for.The pen and pencil options are another highlight! If you love the feel of paper but want a more organized, flexible way to manage your life, Penbook is the next best thing. It's intuitive, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely enjoyable to use.

I have been looking for a note taking app for my ipad for the longest so its easier for me to multitask between my laptop and taking notes. This is very creative.
