And the material covers more than the nuts and bolts of coding; you also learn why you should use one language over another, and what each one excels at.

  • Pretty good over all

    C-137 gravity falls

It is a pretty good app over all and I understand they need a way to make money but it seems like a bit muck of the content is locked behind a paywall (but it is the only one I can find that allows this much free content at this quality)

TL;DR: a great app to start learning the concepts and syntax of programming with a vast catalog of languages to chase.Currently using the Pro membership and studying C. I have an AAS degree and majored in programming. This app is truly great. I few tiny bugs sprinkled in (especially when you dig into the editor and start tinkering and exploring) but I haven’t found anything that would get in the way of someone learning the topic… yet.I have a few little tweaks I’d love to share with the devs but I’m sure their hands are full enough considering the VAST amount of languages covered and depth of content. So far, I’m really enjoying this app. I may see how the free version compares and find out if it’s worth the extra bucks. It probably is but only one way to find out. I’ll update this review if I feel it could be useful.

  • App is perfectly fine, but..

    DrMysticRaven

Everything here is just fine, the app works well, the ads can be muted if needed, the app explains the very basics, the reason I give it three stars is because of the premium, it seems to force it on you, when I looked into buying it it only gave me a month or a year, it’s just be easier to make it a one time purchase for permanent premium account, even if that meant it would be more expensive. Thanks!

  • Major learning issue

    Cole_Mor

The app is pretty solid overall. However when I’m working on the “catch the bug” exercises if I get the answer wrong in some way the AI responds in Spanish. I unfortunately can’t read Spanish and my phone and app settings are all set to English. There isn’t an option to adjust the feedback to be in my native language or translate or even copy it so I can punch it into a different translator app

  • Decent for learning if you pay

    Whatthewhy?

Hello, I’m someone trying to learn how to develop websites on the web, I’m currently learning HTML but the thing is you can only mess up 5 times before you need to either wait or pay. I’m trying to learn for free but it’s getting really annoying, if you’re looking for something free to find I do NOT recommend using this app, anything is better than this.

  • Learn by yourself without app help!

    umm nah 926

I’ve done about three lessons and if you don’t notice the top left X in the corner when it asks you, if you want to do a plan, you may think there is no free versionUsually, the X is in the top right so maybe change that . Some people can get confused easily. Also, while trying to learn on my own during one of the lessons, I’m still in the beginning And I attempt to solve a problem and then I get it wrong and all I can do is press continue so I swipe back and to get the solution because it doesn’t help me or guide me to it. It makes you use some sort of block currency. You get from completing lessons. Which at some point problems get so tough. You won’t be able to know the solution because you won’t have enough blocksAlso trying to practice after you’ve completed a lesson it wants you to do a free trial and then payment Plan. I think people who make these apps should get money but like to always pressure you and I even help you or care about you actually learning is stupid. If an app is good, actually good teaching you. Then that should encourage you to do the payment plan. It’s not worth it to do the payment plan if this app already stinks and wants you to use AI all the time. I can agree that it would be helpful, but to always encourage using that instead of getting it your own way or having a preplanned way of trying to teach you’re putting all the dirty work on a robot
