I love Mimo! I believe it is very helpful for people interested in game/app development, but one thing I don’t enjoy is the heart system! Why do I have to wait over two hours to learn?! Why does learning on Mimo make it stressful to make mistakes! I almost game my self a heart attack when I had one heart on my third lesson that day! Also there is a bug that I found in my java script course that when I tried to correct my mistake it wouldn’t let me retype it! Please fix!!!

An incredible, comprehensive “school” for anyone trying to break into coding. I use the free version and I’m learning a lot. I will be buying pro soon and look forward to having full access to the max version because they go way more in depth and add AI “tutors” to really make things click. The free version alone won’t get you professional-ready, but maybe the paid versions will with the extra features. All in all, fully recommend!!

I think that the app in general is good for kids and easy to learn on but the problem is the extent of the learning you can get for free. It’s like Duolingo where you have certain amounts of energy and after you use it you have to refill or buy premium. Same case here but with hearts that go down as you make a mistake. I feel that this pushes people into a spot where they feels like they have to buy the premium version.

I’d say this app is really helpful. I’ve learned many of the python concepts through this app. My one frustration is it holds your hand to a level that’s obscene. They would do much better at helping us retain information if they stopped trying to give us a one or two tap solution and actually let us have to think and type stuff out. If there was more of that or at least a setting to choose that it would be on another level.

This game is actually fantastic I’ve learned so much on just the first lesson holy cow Java script is easier than I thought if you see this and your a parent if your kid likes coding or not at least try to get them to use this it’s so educational and fun and don’t try to skip reading the description thinking you already know it take your time have patience and you’ll have fun

I had been using Mimo on and off but recently this latest update is packed full of awesome content and exercises to help solidify what we learn. I can learn when ever, where ever without the friction of hopping onto a computer or laptop. The ads are not intrusive, but one day I’ll pay for Pro to get rid of them 😂
