Miral has announced that the latest expansion of Yas Waterworld™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi will officially open on April 4, 2026, marking a new phase in the evolution of Yas Island as a global leisure destination. The expansion introduces 11 new slides and attractions, bringing the total to over 70 experiences, while expanding the park’s immersive “Legend of The Lost Pearl” and “Lost City” themes. Key additions include Matamir’s Drop (UAE’s tallest waterslide), Sahel Matamir, Matamir Loop, Matamir Twist, and Matamir Splash, alongside family-focused experiences such as Sarab pool and Al Afda jumping platforms. Today marks an exciting milestone with the opening of Yas Bay East Beach on 19th March on #YasIsland.    Spanning 290 metres of waterfront, the beach has been designed to offer a contemporary coastal escape for guests seeking a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. Operated by our partners Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, guests will enjoy a dedicated fitness zone, open sports areas and recreational activities, making it a meaningful addition to the Yas Bay Waterfront experience. This addition further enhances Yas Bay’s diverse offering, creating more opportunities for guests to stay active, connect, and unwind along the waterfront.
