Most organisations say “ESG” when they actually mean “sustainability". So what is the difference? 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Sustainability is the strategy that defines where you're going. It's about creating long-term value while improving outcomes, reducing impact, and building more resilient systems. 𝗘𝗦𝗚 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 ESG is the metrics, frameworks, and disclosures that show investors, regulators, and partners how well you’re actually performing. A simple way to remember it: • Sustainability = where you’re going • ESG = how others measure if you’re getting there Why this matters now: 1) Procurement is shifting: Good intentions don’t win RFPs. Evidence does. 2) Risk is becoming measurable: Climate, workforce wellbeing, and governance are now cost drivers, not side topics. 3) Trust is becoming data-driven: Broad statements are easy, while comparable metrics build credibility. Within our organisation, we focus on making sustainability real with clear priorities and measurable outcomes designed to scale responsibly because in healthcare, impact isn’t what you say. It’s what you can show. What do you see more often today? Strong sustainability strategies, or strong ESG measurement? Let us know in the comments below. #SustainabilityInFocus #ESG #Sustainability

When advisers think about building stronger client outcomes, the role of a third-party administrator (TPA) like Nextcare is often massively underestimated. In a recent interview with @H&P, Christian Gregorowicz, Global Head of Health Services & Utilities and Managing Director, Nextcare, shared an important perspective. "TPAs sit at the heart of the member experience. With direct visibility of claims and healthcare journeys, we offer insights that go far beyond administration. Our know-how extends from utilisation trends to emerging cost drivers and also evolving customer expectations. For advisers, this creates a real opportunity to: • Make more informed insurer recommendations • Enhance propositions with digital health tools • Deliver smoother outcomes for all concerned when complex claims arise In short, stronger collaboration with TPAs doesn’t just improve processes, it's a fundamental driver that elevates the entire client end-to-end experience. The future of healthcare is not just managed, it’s enhanced. We’re leveraging data-driven insights and digital touchpoints to help our insurers deliver smarter, smoother healthcare experiences and risk management plans. Read what our Global Head of Health Services & Utilities and Managing Director, Nextcare, Christian Gregorowicz, has to say: https://lnkd.in/db8cVtfN https://lnkd.in/dWB2eEmj
The role of the TPA is evolving and so are expectations. I was recently asked in an interview with Health & Protection about the evolving dynamic between third-party administrators (TPAs) and insurers. Two trends are clearly shaping the future: big data & analytics, and enhanced healthcare touchpoints. TPAs like Nextcare are rich in data and equipped with advanced analytics. We are moving beyond traditional administration to deliver actionable insights that inform insurers' product design and shape risk management strategies. This is an area where we are firmly ahead of the curve. At the same time, the healthcare journey is being redefined through more integrated digital and wellness touch points. As insurers prioritise these value-added services, TPAs are playing an increasingly pivotal role in enabling seamless, high quality experiences, both for our clients and their members.

Sustainability isn’t a “nice to have” anymore. It’s how better health systems are built. For health plans across MEA, this isn’t about optics — it’s about performance. Less waste. Clearer compliance. Simpler experiences. Greater resilience. Across the UAE, for example, the shift is already happening: hospitals tracking carbon waste, climate regulation pushing stronger data and governance, and telehealth proving that fewer journeys mean fewer emissions. In this series, we’ll keep sustainability practical and jargon‑free. Next up: ESG vs Sustainability — clearly explained, followed by Water & climate resilience, and Circular health operations.
