Masdar City continues to play an active role in advancing the UAE’s life sciences ecosystem through strategic engagement across research, innovation, and global market discussions. During WHX - World Health Expo, Masdar City contributed to key conversations focused on strengthening the pathway from academic discovery to global impact. Masdar City’s Business Development Manager, Life Sciences, Marwan Mohamed, MBiotech, moderated the panel on Regional to Global Translational Research and Innovation, guiding the discussion toward the practical steps required to accelerate translation from laboratory research to scalable clinical and commercial outcomes. The dialogue emphasized aligned infrastructure, regulatory clarity, and co location as critical enablers of execution. Later that same week at MedTech World, the discussion shifted toward market entry and growth. Marwan joined industry leaders to examine how the Middle East is evolving from a traditional growth market into a strategic innovation partner. Key themes included ecosystem driven partnerships, digital health integration, local manufacturing and in country value, and the transition from standalone products to platform based healthcare models. As the UAE strengthens its global life sciences positioning, Masdar City remains focused on translating ambition into impact. تعزز مدينة مصدر حضورها في تطوير قطاع علوم الحياة في دولة الإمارات عبر مشاركات استراتيجية في البحث والابتكار وصياغة الحوارات العالمية. وخلال فعالية معرض الصحة العالمي (WHX)، أسهمت مدينة مصدر في نقاشات محورية ركزت على تسريع الانتقال من الاكتشاف الأكاديمي إلى التأثير العالمي. وأدار مروان محمد، مدير تطوير الأعمال في مدينة مصدر، جلسة بعنوان "من البحث الإقليمي إلى الابتكار والانتقال العالمي"، موجّهاً النقاش نحو الخطوات العملية اللازمة لتحويل الأبحاث المخبرية إلى نتائج سريرية وتجارية قابلة للتوسع. كما أكدت الجلسة أهمية تكامل البنية التحتية، ووضوح الأطر التنظيمية، ونماذج التمركز المشترك باعتبارها ممكنات أساسية للتنفيذ الفعّال. وخلال فعالية MedTech World في الأسبوع ذاته، اتجهت المناقشات نحو استراتيجيات دخول الأسواق وتحقيق النمو. وانضم مروان إلى قادة القطاع لمناقشة تطور الشرق الأوسط من سوق نمو تقليدية إلى شريك استراتيجي في الابتكار، مع التركيز على الشراكات القائمة على المنظومة، ودمج الصحة الرقمية، وتعزيز التصنيع المحلي والقيمة داخل الدولة، والانتقال من المنتجات المنفردة إلى نماذج رعاية صحية قائمة على المنصات. ومع تعزيز دولة الإمارات مكانتها العالمية في قطاع علوم الحياة، تواصل مدينة مصدر تحويل الطموحات إلى أثر ملموس ومستدام.

Masdar City was recently recognized at the 4th Annual Middle East Procuretech & Supply Chain Innovation Summit & Awards, receiving the accolade for Best Procurement Technology Implementation. Another milestone as we continue to build a more efficient and technology-driven ecosystem. كُرمت مدينة مصدر مؤخرًا في القمة السنوية الرابعة للابتكار في مجال تكنولوجيا المشتريات وسلاسل التوريد في الشرق الأوسط، حيث نالت جائزة أفضل تطبيق لتكنولوجيا المشتريات.
