Do I need Photo Gallery Unlimited to display photos on my Echo Show?
No. You can display photos on compatible Echo Show devices using the free Slideshow feature. To start a slideshow, swipe down on your screen and tap the Slideshow button. On devices running original Alexa, this button is labeled Photo Frame.

What’s the difference between Slideshow and Photo Gallery Unlimited?
Slideshow displays your photos full screen for up to 3 hours per session. When the slideshow ends, your Echo Show returns to the home screen. Photo Gallery Unlimited ($2.99/month per device) removes the time limit — your photos play continuously. After any interaction with Alexa, your photos resume automatically.

I subscribed to Photo Gallery Unlimited, but my screen goes dark. Why aren’t my photos displaying?
Your Echo Show may have Night Mode or Auto Sleep enabled, which can turn off the screen on a schedule or after a period of inactivity. To keep your photos displaying continuously, disable these settings. On your Echo Show, go to the More icon with three lines, then Settings, then Display & Appearance. From there, you can turn off Night Mode and Auto Sleep.

I subscribed to Photo Gallery Unlimited, but I see other content sliding in over my photos. How do I fix this?
Some Echo Show devices have a feature called Adaptive Content that displays widgets and other content in a panel that slides in from the right side of the screen when you're nearby. To turn this off and show only your photos, go to the More icon with three lines, then Settings, then Display & Appearance, then Adaptive Content. From there, turn off Adaptive Transition.
