Not sure if SE would support this. But if they don't, we may have a shot by asking Grammarly to support the new editor instead.

Thanks for the report! My official stance on this is "we don't want to support external extensions/scripts that mess with our page", but realistically, I'll take a peek and see if it isn't something that would be an easy remedy. Your hypothesis about it not spell checking code blocks seems likely to me.
