Expanding financial inclusion through digital banking
Grab’s digital banks—GXS Bank in Singapore, GXBank in Malaysia and Super Bank in Indonesia—extend reach beyond the Grab ecosystem to serve broader underserved communities. With digital banking licences, Grab can offer a wider range of financial products that address the unique needs of gig workers, microentrepreneurs, and young professionals. By leveraging ecosystem insights, Grab designs solutions that remove the common barriers to financial products that these groups face. In 2024, PT Super Bank Indonesia, in which Grab has a 30.84% equity interest, was also publicly launched as a digital bank in Indonesia.
