Good screen display and high refresh rate, high CPU performance, low weight compare to its size.
However, the sound is the biggest problem. The 8 speakers are to loud and produce strong vibration while playing sound, seemed due to resonance or something else I don't know. It is hardly to handle the tablet in landscape mode while playing sound because you can feel strong vibration. Maybe Honor should consider to reduce the quantity of speakers or relocate them so they do not produce strong vibration.

I am considering buying this tablet. The only complaint is the very short support. Only one OS update and two years of security updates.
I own the Honor Pad V9. First off, it’s not the regular Snapdragon 8350 — it’s the 8350 Elite version.
Other than that, it also comes with UFS 3.1 storage.
In my own tests, I got 1.75 million on AnTuTu v11 while the device was cooled in the fridge.
In Genshin Impact, you can get a stable 60 FPS at the highest settings.
In CarX Street, it runs between 45–60 FPS on max settings, but that’s mostly because the device heats up — I don’t use a cooler.
In PUBG, it runs at a stable 90 FPS normally, and with a config, it easily holds 120 FPS.
For the price, it’s absolutely unbeatable — plus, the stylus and case are really good too.

Eslam Abdo, 17 May 2025is there a kind of magnetic keybord cover can fit the honor pad v9 ?Yea it does (depends on region)
I've been using the v9 for a week and I really like it. The price has gone down in Saudi Arabia. I got it for 1200 riyals. When it was first released, the price was very unreasonable, which was 1900 riyals. It was very expensive, but now the price is reasonable with good performance, a good screen, a good battery, and the price is also cheap...
is there a kind of magnetic keybord cover can fit the honor pad v9
?
just got it a week ago; my experience has been positive so far
tidy and clean design, feels like iPad Pro in the hand
pretty snappy, 8530 makes light work of most games, drops a few frames in Genshin Impact and sticks to 40~50FPS in Wuthering Waves [maxed out]
Sometimes [sadly, often] it kicks back down to 60Hz in games, fixes it by itself but takes a very long time to do so
Cameras are so-so, granted my prior tablet [iPad 2010] wasn't any better, cause it had none
Software is decent, its Magic Portal feature doesn't work very consistently, but inbuilt apps are smart, and support many file formats
Display is amazing, zero eyestrain at night, high res, no PWM to worry about and contrast is good for an LCD
8 Speakers, 2 per grill [prob Sub + Tweet of sorts], 4 on each side. Really high clarity and volume, can get quiet when needed. Soundspace is also decent, maybe thanks to its [by default] DTS:X tuning
Battery life is stellar, and the box included a max wattage charger, alongside a flippy case [that leaves most sides unprotected for reasons unknown] and a Magic Pencil 3 [basically Apple Pencil 2, same design, same tech]
for its price, outperforms iPad 11 and S10 FE by a longshot
[I'm aware of it being priced strangely close to the MagicPad 2 - wasn't the case over here but if it is for where you live, I'd get that instead]

Having used it for a while, it's a pretty good tab. Other alternative that you can look into is the lenovo idea tab.
Hello tech bros, which is better overall? This or the Xiaomi Pad 7? Both are selling about the same price in my home country.
I saw the Xiaomi do have slightly better specs on paper, but I heard that their HyperOS is worst than the MagicOS in this tablet. Is the better specs worth the worst OS and worst optimisations on the Xiaomi?
Also, this do come bundled with a free Magic Pencil and a keyboard with a built-in trackpad (both works well, I tested in person), whereas the Xiaomi offers the Focus pencil too, but also a keyboard without a trackpad. Is the trackpad essential for daily use (notetaking, surfing the web, doing assignments etc.)?
I'm a first time tablet buyer, looking for a tablet that can assist me in my further studies, so would like to know more :)

€449 on the German Honor site. 8/256, Includes the pen, cover, keyboard and even a watch. I mean honestly that's OK, I wish I could just take the pen and get it for €399. Even so, it's currently better than the xiaomi pad 7 for what's it's offering
Georgeger, 17 Dec 2024No bad for its price I wonder if this would be betterr than Xiaomi Pad 7. Still... no word on its availibity in EU/US.
