edit: did my research,... moreAsha 305 Lite and Asha 305 are the same phone, it's just HMD naming shenanigans (several other recent phones from them have different names depending on retailers)
Also the ODM for this model is Water World I believe, they also make a lot of HMD's feature phones and the Arc/Aura²/Arc²/Key

Dubbed as digital detox and anti addiction. Really ? But marketed with social media app and even Netflix, spotify ? Too far. If HMD can just make it more simple like providing basic function app like messenger (Whatsapp,Telegram,line etc), map, offline music player, good speaker, lite browser, Those ancient specs will be enough but modern social media app will make it laggy as h3ll. Pffttt

edit: did my research, from what i've seen, it (or rather its non lite equivalent) runs Android 11 out of the box, and of course, it does have Google Apps, though it's browser only. so i can only assume it has no Google Play Services
it also feels like they outsourced the phone to another ODM. strange, an ODM outsourcing production to an ODM, call that an inception.

TwitterPlus, 28 Jul 2026I don't think it's even AOSP. Its some kind of RTOSAndroid used to run on 2 Gigabytes up to 10 i think, and Android 16 GO works on it too

Guys from Philippines,... moreNot sure, but given that everything about this is outdated and awful, even a used Google Pixel would be a better option, or some other flagship from 2016-2018, and I'm sure those are dirt cheap now.
