Gemini gains the ability to create interactive simulations

Google AI

The latest Gemini feature lets Google's AI generate interactive simulations and models. With this, Gemini can transform your questions and complex topics into custom visualizations directly within the chat.

In the past, Gemini would mostly respond to such queries with text with static diagrams. Now, it delivers functional simulations that help you better understand the topic you're inquiring about.

Examples Google gives include "rotating a molecule or simulating a complex physics system", or "exploring how the moon orbits the Earth". You can manually adjust options to see how specific variables affect the simulation.

This feature is now rolling out to all Gemini users globally (but not yet for Education and Workspace accounts). To use it, you need to select the Pro model. Once you have, you can just ask Gemini to show you or help you visualize a complex concept so you can see this at work.

Is this AI or just a set of automation scripts treated like AI? If there aren't tensors involved, then I refuse to accept that it's really AI.
